Publisher's summary

The worldwide phenomenon continues as Eva and Gideon face the demons of their pasts and accept the consequences of their obsessive desires.... From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn’t resist. I also saw the dangerous and damaged soul inside - so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat. No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I’d been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become.

Entwined by our secrets, we tried to defy the odds. We made our own rules and surrendered completely to the exquisite power of possession....

hot and heavy

The lovers' story continues in between bombshells of bad luck. The continuity is the sex, everyone is having it. If you like those descriptions, you will love this series.

That's not why I said YES

The fact that I have read and read it countless number of times AND then listened on Audio, says pretty clearly how I'm obsessed with this series. Superlative writing and expansive intricate narration, it's one of my top 5 reads
This one takes Eva and Gideon on an emotional journey of togetherness. Gideon is already at their end point, their HEA, only Eva has to be in the right mindset to commit.
More revelations, more swoony sex, more trust is built up to orgasmic heights.
So on to the next book now
5 stars for That's not why I said YES

Thank Goodness It's NOT Over yet!!

I'm a bit surprised that some feel cheated and ripped off that this is NOT the last in the Eva and Gideon saga, but I for one am thrilled that there are at least 2 more books to follow. I love the subplots, and I want to know more about their crazy parents, families and exes, the female cop, Cary, Megumi and the 2 "drivers" who are more special ops bodyguards extraordinaire than chauffeurs. If Ms. Day had limited this to just 3 books, I think most of us would have lamented that it was all over and would have wanted her to do at least a couple of spin-off series with Gideon and Eva cameos and updates. My only gripe is that I didn't catch the story a few years from now so I could just listen to them all at one time, but that's pretty much always the way it goes. I can't wait to see what she spins for the next books, but I'm kind of hoping for a Magdalena or Megumi/Brett hookup and lots of comeuppance for G's mom, the pediatrician, half-brother and anyone else who needs it.

As for the writer being "greedy," please. I would have paid a credit, and many would have paid retail of $29.95 without a blink AND been happy with more books in the series. Through Audible, this is absolutely worth a credit, though it's cheaper by cash and a total bargain to get the 3 audiobooks for under $30.

Great Listen !

Would you listen to Entwined With You again? Why?

Yes, this a good read, the narrator was superb ! I was able to follow along with every detail and it kept my attention throughout.

Any additional comments?

Gideon was a great character that was very troubled, this is not a comparison of 50 shades but a step up ! You don't want to miss out, I downloaded all 3 and can not wait until the 4th comes out !

THIS SERIES KEEP GETTING BETTER! GIDEON... *SWOON*

Now I get it when women seem to be swooning or fanning themselves when they mention Gideon Cross in reviews. This book was all Gideon Cross-sumptuousness! Oh how I loved it! I felt like Gideon and Eva's relationship emanated a strength and security that was further exemplified in the last 2 hours of this audiobook....OMG! What developments and direction this book took!!!!---Totally unexpected, and for me, that's because Gideon Cross is unexpected. He sweeps Eva off of her feet and always seems to surprise her with his reactions and demands which perpetually put her at the top of his priority list. I adore the way Gideon loves Eva...it's a desperate, insatiable, needy, all-consuming kind of love, and of course that love is reciprocated. There are steamy love scenes, and every development in this story brings Gideon and Eva closer together.

Regarding the secondary characters, I'm mixed about Kary (sp?), Eva's best friend. I hate his relationship with Tatiana, but we'll see what happens there. OMG, and Eva's parents kill me!!! I think their story is so sad, but I just know that in the next 2 books something good is going to happen to them...I have that feeling, even though their situation is depressing and lost right now. Eva's friend, Maouby (sp?)---well, there is something weird and suspicious about her, or her boyfriend.....I can't put my finger on it. I'm curious to see what washes up on the shore of past relationships for both Gideon and Eva in the next book. So far, every past relationship, for both has been deemed irrelevant. I hope that continues to be the theme as we go forward in this series.

Regarding book 4, which follows, I can't wait till November when it is released!!! I just hope that Gideon and Eva do not regress in how far along they have come in their trust and love for one another. Eva does tend to misread Gideon's brooding and quiet moments. When she thinks the worst, it tends to turn out that Gideon is even more committed to her than she realizes. I'm hoping that this is the worst type of situation that will occur in the next book. I don't want to be pissed about Gideon or Eva cheating, or anything like that. Well, the fact that I'm pontificating just proves how this series can really get in your head.

UGH, I'm hoping to survive the wait for the release of the final 2 books in this series.

To GIDEON AND EVA, AND THE ADVENTURES & HOT SEX THAT AWAIT THEM!

Narrator: Jill Redfield is incredibly talented. Her performance is excellent. I love what she does for Gideon's voice......she makes him sound so irresistible! She does a great job for all of the characters.

This one had everything but the kitchen sink!

I absolutely adore the Crossfire series, can't get enough of it. Each book has been hot like fire, and I have been anticipating the third book what seems like forever. All that said, I felt emotionally drained at the end of Entwined. So many ups and downs and twists and turns--GEEZ!!! I was happy and confounded all at once. With all the characters having these newly developing storylines, my head was spinning! I love Eva and Gideon so much I just want a fairy tale ending for them--can we have that please Sylvia Day??? This wasn't a disappointment at all, but I hope that the next book ties up some loose ends and these two lovebirds can stop having so much drama. Book4??...now the wait begins....

Will This Never End???

Would you consider the audio edition of Entwined With You to be better than the print version?

Yes. I like the voice of the narrator and she brings the characters to life. I've become a fan of audio but also like to have the print version available so I can go over the 'hotter' bits. The one thing about audio is the inability to hit replay to the exact point you want to repeat.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that Gideon and Ava seemed to gain understanding of each other and to finally be making headway toward a meaningful romance, marriage, and life together. Then.....it didn't end but the author decided to keep her $$$$ coming in.

What about Jill Redfield’s performance did you like?

I liked the way she reads and makes the characters come to life. She even gets Gideon's fear through her voice.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Watch Out for Sexy Men and Women.....they never get over it.

Any additional comments?

I'm wondering why it was advertised as a trilogy and now we are waiting for Book #4.

Good and Worth It but not as good as the first 2

When I pre-purchased this book I was looking forward to the conclusion of the series. Well that was not the case.

it was not as exciting as the first 2 and it left to many questions that I truly hope are answered in the coming books.

Would I get this again, Yes, would I recommend it Yes.
