The worldwide phenomenon continues as Eva and Gideon face the demons of their pasts and accept the consequences of their obsessive desires.... From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn’t resist. I also saw the dangerous and damaged soul inside - so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat. No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I’d been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become.
Entwined by our secrets, we tried to defy the odds. We made our own rules and surrendered completely to the exquisite power of possession....

“A steamy read that will have you furiously flipping pages.” (Glamour)
“A highly charged story that flows and hits the mark.” (Kirkus Reviews)
Sylvia Day's Crossfire Series is much better than 50 Shades. She is a talented writer.
This is the first time I have heard Jill Redfield and I am amazed at her talent! She has such a wide range of voices. The voice of Ava is perfect. Her male voices are just as good. Gideon's voice is sexually masculine, I forgot that the narrator was female.
Busy working mom of 6. We play sports and are adrenaline junkies. I love books, regardless of audio, ebook, or good old paperback!
no, i'm done.
it was boring and predictable
Ava, everything about her is perfect which makes her difficult to relate with.
I wanted to like this book so much!
there was always something happening
all most all of them
i felt as if i was watching it
As I listened to this book I wondered if things with Brett and Ava'sparents really would get resolved. As time went by I didn't think it was possible. So I am glad there ismore to this story.
The fact that we were told AT THE END that it the TRILOGY was now going to be a 5 book series??? There were wayyy too many loose ends. Seems like she rushed the story and added too much fluff. Not enough substance.
sure... but if i had to hear "Oh Gideon" one more time....
it inspired me to really decide if i want to continue with this series
I love this series of novels written by Sylvia Day. Eva and Gideon intense passionate love is as awe inspiring and glittering as the tallest skyscraper that sparkle along the New York water line. Jill Redfield narration was dead on she was able to portray Eva and Gideon two upwardly mobile New Yorker dead on. Then total changing the narration again showing Eva and Gideon love story, GREAT!!!!!!. I love the author surprise at the end.
SPOILER ALERT!!!!!! Sylvia thank you for the message at the end I can not wait for the next novel.
All of it, the story just gets better Ad better!!!
Fifty Shades and Being Me.
Awesome, she is great!!!
All of them, fantastic!!!
Hurry up with the next one, please!!!!!
I have never been a big reader but I found a love for audiobooks and now find myself listening and reading anything I can get my hands on.
I would recommend this book as part of a hot, steamy series with great characters.
Ava and Gideon are completely entwined.
Jill Redfield makes this story so believable. She takes it to a whole new level.
I found myself rushing to leave for work early just to be able to listen to it on my commute in.
I love the Crossfire Series and have read the first two, however, Jill Redfield ruined this book for me. Her reading style completed obliterated my image of these two characters. She tries to lower her voice to sound like Gideon, but totally ruins the illusion!
I love Gideon and Cary! Gideon is so strong, but boyish and a little insecure, so he seems more fallible.
Anyone! The lady who reads all of the Outlander books would be great!
I love the book, but not the narrator!
Say something about yourself!
Yes, yes, yes.! I just loved the story of these two people, damaged but healing.
Cary! Flawed but beautiful, honest to a fault.
Her voice is very New York to me, loved her character presentations. I hope she narrates all installments of Eva and Gideon's journey.
I read the printed version three times and have listened to the audiobook at least four times. I laughed and cried, Cary's BS meter reaction, Victor's heartbreak and Jean Francois' loss.
Can't wait for the next installment! I think folks mistake an author's intent in developing a storyline, they have a vision and hope you come along. Some folks expect an author to write what they (readers) are thinking, write your own novel and stop assuming an author's monetary intent to bilk you.
"Disappointment from start to finish."
This book was an abomination. The first two were great and were moving along nicely with a great storyline and great characters and now the third part of a trilogy suddenly becomes a the third part of a five books series. The story is stretched so thin, it's like wet toilet paper, and just as enticing.
There was no plot development or character development and if I heard him growl "Angel" one more time, I was gonna throw up.
Absolutely dreadful. If I had thought about it sooner and if Audible did not have such a difficult returns policy, I would return it. Suddenly turning a 3 parter into a 5 parter surely breaks the contract between writer and reader, even if it is only a moral contract. Will never buy another book in the series.
The performance was fine. She did a good job with an awful book
I would have cut at least half of the sex scenes, deleted 4 out of 5 times that they said "I love you" or called each other their pet names and I would have insisted that Sylvia Day actually finish the story as she promised.
hoping there is a book 4. I read all three books in the crossfire series and its up there with the fifty shades trilogy, except Gideon Cross is not as sexually twisted and Christian Grey.
"The Crossfire series - Entwined with you"
I have not read the print version but I enjoy audio books and would not go back to an ordinary book now
I love the story line and how it has some surprises. I love the characters
She acts the parts very well although I wish there was a male voice for Gideon
Dark and dangerouse
I would love to see it made into a movie or tv series but one which would keep all the detail not miss out huge chunks like some movies do when created from a book
"better than book 2"
Thought the story read better and was more interesting. nice twist of faith on character Kerry
loving the crossfire story.
The characters are amazing and their journey is addictive.
loving Jill Redfield as narrator she is in my top 3 of my most favourite narrators of all time!!!
I am so on to the next book as soon as I've finished typing.
I applaud you Sylvia Day on an amazing set of books. xxxxxx
"outstanding - best one yet !"
loved the story and the narration was brilliant.
Honestly there isn't anything else to say except read it/listen to it, in peace and quiet so you can enjoy their story, pleasure ..... and pain.
Enjoy. I did, every single word
"Good but reaching a bit"
Still enjoyable but im afraid the storyline is being stretched a bit, where can their story possibly go from here? Mind you the steamy scenes are kind of worth sticking around for.
A rare account of love, romance and commitment. Very well done. Totally unforgettable, and full of fantasy and exquisite passion.
