Mia Lauren is a single, 21-year old working in a West Hollywood art store who dreams of one day becoming a fashion designer. When an unexpected offer arises to work at Enthrall, L.A.'s premier fetish club for the wealthy, Mia accepts. It's a salary beyond her wildest imagination. Mia becomes the secretary to the club's assistant director, blond and broody Richard Booth. Richard is not only one of L.A.'s most beautiful and wealthiest men, he is also the club's senior dominant. Mia is both drawn and terrified when he reveals flashes of his white-hot passion, threatening an unbound pleasure like no other. She knows her attraction may be her undoing, but the spellbinding feelings render her powerless to resist his advances. What Mia cannot know is that Enthrall's dashing director, 30-year-old Cameron Cole, who is also the club's psychiatrist, has lured Mia to save his best friend and patient Richard from his obsession with thrill seeking. Cameron masterfully sets up sexy scenarios to ensure the collision of Richard and Mia, hoping that love will save him. However, despite Cameron's noble intentions, he also finds himself enticed by Mia's haunting innocence. Passion and pleasure stir, forming a dangerous love triangle. This is the world of the forbidden. This is the embrace of Enthrall.

Love all romance, dark romance, romantic comedy and suspenseful romance!
Enthrall was amazing and totally sucked me in! It was definitely not what I was expecting in the best way possible!
Twenty-one year old Mia Lauren gets employed as secretary to senior dominant, Richard Booth at Enthrall. She is instantly attracted to her new boss and his air of confidence, handsome good looks, and domineering ways. Mia is a strong woman but young, innocent, and naïve. She is quick to make friends at the club with her amiable personality and even earns the attention of some clients. Richard thinks she is not cut out for the job and decides to fire her, however with the help of the club psychiatrist, Cameron Cole and a friends suggestion, she takes drastic measures to get her job back. Cameron Cole has his own air of confidence, sexiness, and intensity. Mia is constantly being thrown into situations with him and in turn making Richard angry.
It is a constant, wild and mysterious ride throughout the book with some hot as hell scenes! I can't wait to find out more!! A definite must read!!!
However, really needed a male voice for Richard and Cameron!
Great Books Don't Promote Violence
I really hated this book about 2 sadist men (Richard and Cameron) whose life ambition was to torture and humiliate anyone foolish enough to get sucked into their bizarre world. They owned/operated a private club where violent and degrading behavior was encouraged.
They hired Mia, an incredibly naive 21 year old virgin to be the club's secretary and promptly begin to seduce her with expensive gifts and physical threats. Somehow Mia, an orphan desperate for affection, was brainwashed into loosing her virginity and self respect.
Mia was just pathetic, too immature and childish to appreciate that selling her soul for a few moments of male attention was too stupid for words. While rich and attractive, Richard and Cameron were smug, arrogant, self absorbed and shallow.
I didn't find Enthrall erotic, romantic or sexy - I don't find abusive, violent or self destructive behavior entertaining. It was particularly disturbing that Cameron (a psychiatrist) used his medical training to hurt rather than heal people - he would have made a great Nazi.
The audiobook of Enthrall delivered a top notch performance of a genuinely moving novel. I enjoyed every minute.
When Richard takes Mia to visit a Buddhist temple in Los Angeles. The moment demonstrates the balance the author pulls off between the physical and the psychological.
There's a subtly and range to Abra Neville that goes beyond the expected competent reading of text. I really felt as though Mia was sharing her story directly with me. Abra Neville made the experience intimate and worth recommending. Mia came alive. Pure and simple.
The time spent in Napa Valley made me realize fully that this story wasn't just another erotic romance. It was an emotional, arousing journey.
The discovery of the audiobook of Enthrall was rewarding, and I'm thrilled that the author continues the story in additional novels. In addition, from what I've read online, Vanessa Fewings has novellas of this dynamic world in the works to add to the trilogy already available. What a pleasure! :)
Good story. If you are looking for Erotica with a plot, this is it. The narrator was very good and kept my attention for the entire book. I will admit, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this story. I thought this story would be another Fifty Shades of Grey knockoff. Although there are some similarities, this story is actually well written and engaging. I listened to the book in 3 days and I want to start Enthrall Her right away.
The love triangle that is developing between Richard, Mia, and Cameron is going to make for great reading. They each have their own demons that they are living with and trying to work through which makes them all interesting characters. Even the supporting characters Mistress Lotte, Penny, and Mistress Scarlet are well written. Of course the sex scenes are smoking HOT, but the story around those scenes is good and worth listening to. Well worth a credit :)
Too busy to read as much as I'd like, Audible is the perfect solution. I'm a romance reader mostly, but can stray into any story.
As you are lead through innocent Mia's journey to work at Enthrall, you quickly see that there is a much bigger story than what's on the surface. I very much enjoyed the psychological aspect of this book and look forward to where it can go in Enthrall Her.
The narration was good but there were many times that there was no pause between characters switching and I was confused as to who was saying what. I feel like there is room to grow there.
I enjoyed the story. I think I would enjoy reading it better. I liked the idea of working for a club like that and seeing what enfolds. I can't decide who I like better Cameron or Richard
The writing is appalling, the lead character is naive, which I can live with, but her sheer stupidity just astounds me. Surely I wasn't that dumb when I was 21? I have over 500 audio books in my library & this is the first that I couldn't finish & that actually made me cringe. Don't waste a credit or your money, totally not worth it.
The story is okay. The characters all sound the same. There are alpha males that sound like sweet young ladies. There is no distinction in the voices of any of the characters. I recommend reading rather than listening.
Someone who doesn't mind the word "said" being over-used in dialogue. It was rather distracting.
I really like her narration but did not change her voice with other characters. At times it got confusing.
