Some feelings you just can't fight.
He is known as the Warrior Captain - a master of every weapon, a fierce soldier sworn to protect his kind. Powerful, relentless, merciless, Elijah has always won every battle he's ever taken on - until now. Ambushed by necromancers, he is left for dead only to be discovered by the woman who could very well deliver the final blow: Siena, the Lycanthrope Queen.
With three centuries of warring, little more than a decade of uneasy peace has existed between the Lycanthropes and Elijah's people. Now, after a lifetime of suspicion, the warrior in Elijah is consumed with a different battle - winning Siena's heart by giving her pleasure beyond all boundaries. What starts as attraction and arousal soon burns into a passion with consequences that will echo through the ages for both their people. And as would-be enemies become inseparable lovers, another threat approaches, one with the power to destroy them all.
Spend some more time with the Nightwalkers - if you dare.

"Both leads are strong, and Frank grants her hero a refreshing measure of insight into the relationship. What works even better is the camaraderie that develops between the Nightwalker tribes, as Frank plunges deeper into her dark world." (Publishers Weekly)
I don't know, I haven read it only listen to it. I do usually like both. I love to turn it on in the car and clean house to them. It makes time go by and fun. Thank you.
Hit had a lot of depth and was fun to read.
She played the voices well for the characters. I got lost in the story.
Never say never.
Intense, Sexy, Consuming.
I loved the fact that his female mate was not an easy conquest for him, even though she deeply desired him.
Yes, I have listened to other books in the Nightwalker series and I absolutely love this narrator.
JF seems to be coming into her own with this one. Also the repetitive back story of the first two is toned down (thank god) and the action isn't delayed. Higher stakes and more adventure. A great read!

Let me start by saying Xe Sands does a great job at Narrating this series. The beginning of this book gets right to the point of excitement, The way the story unfolds is perfect, I really enjoyed listening to this book, actually it is the second time listening now. I would suggest listening to the previous books of this series so you can understand what is going on.
This is my favorite book in all the Nightwalkers Series, Elijah and Siena being probably the best couple. And, again, great job Xe Sands!
I've always been a avid reader so now I'm a avid listener. I prefer the paranormal genre but I do like to switch things up. It's boring if you don't have variety. Of course I do love the romance and the hotter the better. Also, you can't beat a good thriller filled with suspense and a ending you can't even guess at until the very end.
Book 3 does not disappoint. The saga continues with the lycanthorpe, demon, druid, and vampire races. I have really enjoyed this series and I recommend it. In my opinion it's well worth the credit or purchase price. I'm definitely getting book 4.
A reviewer at Guilty Indulgence Review Site. I don't go anywhere without a book -ebook or audiobook- and I always have an opinion to share.
Another solid addition to the Night Walker series and I'm officially addicted. Be sure to start with book one for the best understanding of the ongoing plot. The action is fast, the romance tingly and the characters endearing.
The narrator's voice isn't my favorite but it didn't necessarily detract from the story so I was okay with it.

Yes. I found the pace too slow and boring, and they spent way too much time in one location.
Not really. After a while all the male characters sounded the same to me.
I really wanted to love this book. I've loved Elijah since I first read Jacob, but he became such a wuss, and I found the heroine super annoying. I actually enjoyed the Gideon part of the story a lot more.
