Pretty Good Book

I have never read (or listened) to any of Linda Howard's books. I think this was a pretty good book for the most part. I must say she did a really good job of taking readers inside the head of the villain. That dude was beyond wacko. Very convincing.

I had issues with the manner in which the romance unfolded. It didn't seem very natural to me but it's just my opinion. In spite of it the book on a whole was good. I really liked the main character, Sarah.

If nothing else it was an entertaining book.

Excellent romantic suspense!

Loved both the story and the narration. The narrator did a great job of imparting emotion and the feeling of suspense! I'd recommend any audiobook by this author, as I've bought them all and each is extremely well done!

This was the first book ive read, or rather listened to by this author and i enjoyed it very much.

Really Enjoyed This Book!

I've never been disappointed with this author. She tells a tale while pulling you in with such ease. I find myself not being able to stop listening but let down when it ends. It seems like every good book you find ends to soon! All around, you won't be regretting this one, especially with Susan Ericksen telling the story. She's my all time favorite!!

A good narrator makes a good book great.

This was a great story, probably one of my favorites by Linda Howard. Susan Ericksen has to be one of the best narrators. Just enough suspense and steamy romance to keep you hooked til the very end. Love a strong female heroine who gets the strong man. Credit worthy!

Loved the story and the narrator

I will likely listen to the rest of Linda Howard's books since I loved Now You See Her as much as this one. I can't wait to get started.

Fabulous

Exploding with large turners, Linda Howard draws you in to the life of Sarah, a strong female character, a capable butt picking butler. To compliment her character in all ways is the emotionally damaged but sexy detective Cahill. A story of murder, intrigue, playful romance, even a heart wrenching betrayal. A story you won't want to put down.

Susan Erickson is my favorite narrator. She makes the stories come alive every time. Great story!
