The spellbinding Dream-Hunter series continues!
Hades doesn’t often give second chances....

Simone Dubois is a medical examiner with a real knack for the job. Those who are wrongfully killed appear to her and help her find the evidence the police need to convict their killers. But when a man appears and tells her that she’s more than just a psychic, she’s convinced he’s insane. Now the fate of the world hangs in her hands....
It was bad enough when just the dead relied on her. Now’s there’s the seductive Dream-Hunter Xypher who needs Simone’s help in opening a portal to the Atlantean hell realm to fight insatiable demons. The future of mankind is at stake - and so is her life. The only question now is: Who is the bigger threat: the demons out to kill her, or the man who has left her forever changed?

Being that I am avid audiobook listener and a love of great stories that pulls you in right away. Let me start with this book in just one in a large book series that Sherrilyn Kenyon has written that I have fallen in love with and I know that many others will too. She has the ability to pull you in by the way the characters are introduced. With sexy appeal and the swagger rolls out of the voice of Fred Berman and you are able to picture them in your minds eyes. The struggles to not love and want to protect his reluctant cuffed partner Simone Dubois, Xypher not only falls in love with her, but would learn to trust her and teach him how to live.
Great story! Interesting point of view, with Zipher (my spelling is horrendous!) being the character who was so evil from a previous book being the hero here. Interesting hearing more about Jayden as well.
Some of the old favorite characters had their stories strengthened while contributing to the current
Yes, because I could listen to Fred Berman all day.
I liked that it filled in some holes to other books and what is coming in future books.
I love Jaden. Can't wait to find out more about his story.
I haven't been a huge fan of the Dream Hunter part of Kenyon's series but I really enjoyed Xypher in Devil May Cry and decided that I had to give this a chance. I'm so glad I did!
Avid reader/listener of romance, action, thrillers, and spy novels.
Yes, mainly because I like to listen to the stories while I work around the house and study my bio classes.
When Simone finally gets Xypher to let his guard down around her by buying him dinner.
Jesse. Who doesn't love a ghost from the 80's?
I liked the male character the best. I commonly don't like Kenyon's female characters but this one was good.
