Breathtaking

Loved the book. Very well written. Kept me wanting to read more. Loved the narrator. Perfect voice for the book. Congrats for finding just the right narrator for this intriging story. I hope there will be a sequel to the story. Hats off to you Christine for adding humor to this book.

narrator ruined Byron's character

loved the story but I hated the way the narrator ruined Byron's character making him sound like a vampire.

I find different narrators change how they pronunciate one's name. is sounds like
Gru•Gori or sound like plain ole Gregory

Really liked!

I am listening to the Dark Series in order and I found that I do not remember some of the things Byron is remembering from the past that led him to leave his home land! Gives me a reason to listen to the previous books all over again!
This was really one of the best in the series so far!!! I really loved the witty banter between the two life mates! Some of the story had me laughing out loud! I enjoyed this book of the series! I kept rewinding my favorite parts.
Out of the series so far this is my favorite!!!
I loved that the heroine gave herself totally to him! No whining and simpering over the choice! At least this book gave her a choice!!!
Really people if you are listening to the series, you will not be disappointed!
Give it a shot! The intrigue will keep you in suspense!

Narrator Was Good

Where does Dark Symphony rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

As intended, it was a fun enjoyable read with a little mystery thrown in.

What about Kevin Free’s performance did you like?

I thought he did a great job. I almost didn't get this because other people wrote negative reviews but I thought he was good. Most of Feehan's audio books are narrated by a women so this was a change but it was well done.

Loved it!

Another great addition to the Carpathian series! The narrator made the story even more enjoyable. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes paranormal romance. Christine Feehan is one of my favorite authors. I reread all of her books and now relisten or go back and forth between audio and ebook.

The story is very good, but the narrator ?

If you could sum up Dark Symphony in three words, what would they be?

A good story. But the narrator made the hero sound like a pervert. It was very difficult for me to continue listening to the book. The narrator has a decent voice, but his hero's accent and gravely voice made the hero sound like someone extremely ancient NOT sexy or desirable as I am sure the author meant for him to be.

What other book might you compare Dark Symphony to and why?

I feel like this book is an extension of the Scarletti Curse.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Kevin Free?

No!! Not if he continues to make the hero sound like he is 200 years old!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

No.

Any additional comments?

Redo the audiobook with one of the other narrators to give the hero a better image through his voice. At least make him sound younger, please!
