Publisher's summary

"The erotic, gripping series that has defined an entire genre” (J. R. Ward) continues as number one New York Times best-selling author Christine Feehan links the fates of two strangers bound by a secret in the shadows of the Carpathian Mountains...

Tatijana of the Dragonseekers spent centuries encased in ice with her sister, trapped in limbo between life and death, never speaking to a soul other than those who tormented her. Now, she has been freed from her frozen prison by an unknown descendent. Awakened in human form, Tatijana yearns to explore the modern world in which she now lives - a world with more mysteries than she is prepared for.

Fenris Dalka has returned to the Carpathian Mountains after a long absence to be with his brother. He is scarred by centuries of battle, and every hard-won victory. But the real reason for his return home could prove deadly if discovered by the wrong man - or woman. Upon his arrival, he is compelled by a beautiful and enigmatic stranger who carries the scent of fresh earth, of forest, of the night itself.

In time Tatijana and Fenris will discover all that unites them - their secrets and pasts, their predators, and the hot flush of passion that stirs their souls. Yet just as surely, seduced into the silvery darkness of a full-moon night, they’ll also discover everything ancient and evil that exists to destroy them.

New Suspense!

Book24: "Aunt" Tatijana Dragonseeker & Fenris Dalka, brother to Dimitri Tirunul, lifemate of Skyler. I really like how Feehan handles the relationship between Tatijana & Fen. The intro of Guardians, Hunters, werewolves,et al makes for an interesting story arc...I think I'm really going to like Zev & can't wait to hear more. Skyler's powers and the depth of her love for Dimitri are finally made clear now that she's 19. Too bad the "ancients" aren't taking her seriously because she's so young. Sarkus does a decent job with the narration. I just prefer male/female co-narraters in a story like this.

Ending was disappointing, it just stopped

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

You know it's a series so it will be continued but it just felt unfinished.

What about Robert Sarkus’s performance did you like?

He did a great job.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, it didn't feel as suspenseful as other books in the series.

Love All Dark Series Books

I have this entire series on audio, this is the first time I have considered purchasing the book. I am so disappointed!! The narrator was bad, there are 2 or 3 names he pronounces differently/wrong than all other books that these characters are in. Research! Research! Research!

The main characters name sounds like TATAJOHNYA vs. Tatijana. Robert Sarkus was not all bad but after listening to the previous 23 books it is a HUGE difference, please bring back Phil Gigante!!!

I waited and waited for this book and as soon as I heard him say the main characters name I knew it was going to be a hard listen. I love this book and look forward to reading it again... on my tablet.

Great story! Great romance! Ok narration.

Just loved this installment to the Carpathian grand plot. Spectacular characters with the addition of the Lycon race. MUCH MORE GORY! WOLVES are vicious and tear flesh. Loved how so many previous characters are woven into the story. The narrator was weird with his voices. Sometimes his monotone reading devoid of infliction was comical when it was meant to be dramatic but i was able to get past it more easily than i have with some others. Found the fight scenes to be uncomfortable to listen to because Carpathians were "ripped to shreds" by packs of wolves. A stark contrast to the sweet chivalrous romance between the H/h which i adored!

Fantastic!!!

This book was a wonderful surprise, because I didn’r rhink a story with carpethians and wolves could be so great, but I need say I was wrong. The book is fantastic! The only problem was the mystery between Fernis and Tatiana is over very fast, and I think the auhor could have explore a little more. But, this was good too, because the plot takes a course interesting. I really enjoy listen this book.
At first, I took the book because it’s part of the series and could have a important information th understand the carpethians world. However after a short time I was so envolved, I was happy I decided listen it.

About narration, I love it, ww as very good, very intense, and helps to bring to life the book’s atmosphere. erfect.
