Would you consider the audio edition of Dark Desires After Dusk to be better than the print version?

Yes and No - Though I love paper back, and have every one of the IAD series in paper back, you CAN NOT beat Petkoffs preformances in the audios so far - and this latest reading just proves it!!! He is the ONLY one who should EVER be able to narrate the IAD series. He is very talented, he can turn his voice to any character (though of course being male he can't help but get the female voices a little wrong, but that just adds to the story now). With Kresleys wonderful story writing and Roberts great voices, these books are a MUST HAVE in any ones audio collection!!

Which character – as performed by Robert Petkoff – was your favorite?

In this book - Cadeon is my favourite. Robert makes him sound like Jason Statham with an african accent (and I just LOVE Jason!!).
My favourite audio and paper back book in the IAD series is Lothaire - Robert does a great arrogant/bad guy/lovable hero voice.
My favourite Robert voice in the IAD audio series so far in Roberts voice for Nix - He had a way of making her sound so ditsy yet very intelligent

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

You couldn't make a film out of this book without incorporating all of the IAD series...

I was all but hyperventilating while downloading this audio book. I was SSSOOOOO excited. I fell in love with the audio book LOTHAIRE when I stumbled upon it one day and haven't been able to put the IAD books or my Ipod down since. You WILL NOT regret purchasing this audio!!!!
Kresley has a wonderful style to her writing, humour, tenderness, seriousness, gore... Everything you could ask for in a paranormal series.
Robert has a fantastic way of bringing out Kresleys characters personalities. He is able to keep the same voices for different characters consistant through out the series so far. He is an absolute delight to listen to.
And with the Kresley/Robert mix I have cried, laughted and hung onto every word to the very end.
I love these books and can't wait for the next ones, from either Kresley or Robert.

Would you listen to Dark Desires After Dusk again? Why?

I love the Immortals After Dark series! Kresley Cole has the right balance of romance, adventure, strong characters, wit, and heat in her books. It was nice to see the story line be about the demon brothers. Loved it!!

What does Robert Petkoff bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Petkoff has got to be one of the most talented narrators I've ever listened to. He allows me to get completely immersed in the book, forgetting that this one man is doing all the various characters, voices, accents, male or female. He just brings such a richness to the story and makes it come alive for me. He's definitely one of my favorites and the main reason I'm finally writing my first review!

Best reader I've heard!

I have one thing to say about Robert Petkoff reading these books....WOW!!! He is the perfect person to read these characters. Rarely do you come across an actor who can not only play all male characters very convincingly but also play female characters and make you forget it's a male reading the character. Not to mention the accents he does are spot on! He makes listening to these great stories so enjoyable I find myself getting lost in them. I'd like to hear him read Christine Feehan's books as well...he'd be perfect for those too!

I don't know, I haven't read the print version, but I would think so. Robert Petkoff is hands down the best narrator of all the series I listen to...and I listen to a lot of them!

What other book might you compare Dark Desires After Dusk to and why?

Lothaire from the series - this book is humorous, thrilling, sexy...it is my favorite of this series so far and I have loved each one.

Which character – as performed by Robert Petkoff – was your favorite?

Holly - she is quirky and innocent, but smart and sticks to her guns. I love the strong female character and she challenges the men in the book.

I LOVVVEEEEDDD this book. I love this series but this book is one of the best so far for me. I can’t say enough about it everything from beginning to end. It made me laugh out loud so many times. I adore Cade and Holly. The narrator is hands down the best ever. I wish he narrated every single audio book. Worth every credit and then some.

What made the experience of listening to Dark Desires After Dusk the most enjoyable?

The most enjoyable part is actually hearing a voice that fits the character. Which allows the storyline to come alive and the experience wonderful.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Dark Desires After Dusk?

The road trip. It was a journey that both characters need to realize what they truly wanted in life and who was important to them. I also like it when Nix brought Holly out of her comfort zone.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Holly realized how strong she is and that she could survive anything on her own, even evil. It was also great when Cadeon goes after Holly and begs her for forgiveness and for her to come back to him, and how much he love her.

One of my favorites. Nix as always steals the story.

What did you love best about Dark Desires After Dusk?

Just about everything. Mythological critters, fighting, romance, betrayal, ...and steamy sex scenes. I've already read a few of the books in the series and this one is definitely my favorite of the ones I've already read. So when I recently joined Audible and saw it on here I clicked the sample button to see how good the narration was. ...And then immediately used my credit on it. I don't care that I've already read the book. Listening to it like that was an entirely different level of being submerged in a book, and completely worth it. (In my opinion)

What about Robert Petkoff’s performance did you like?

When the voice acting calls for a specific emotion in this story he delivers.... in spades. He did a fantastic job with his work. Sometimes a narrator can make it or break it. And Robert Petkoff makes it.

Immortals After Dark just get better!

This series really just gets better with every book. I love the characters, their wit and personalities, the stories and the narration. I'm so glad I found this series! Now if only the remaining books were available :(

ANOTHER GOOD ONE!

Kresley Cole does it again! This story details Cadeon, one of the demon brothers, who is on a mission to help his brother Ridestrom reclaim his throne. Toss his fated mate into the equation and you've got an action packed, funny, and sexy paranormal tale that will not disappoint. I really enjoy the characters in this series, and am eager to get started on the sixth book!

South African accent....Yummmmm

Another solid installment from Cole-Petkoff. This series is perfect for someone who wants a good mix of action, comedy and regular intervals of sexy time. Do I find myself getting irritated by character choices on occasion, or think some of the plot is a bit contrived? of course. But does that bother me? Hell no! I listen to this series for 2 reasons: there is enough hotness mixed in with a fun adventure to satisfy the perv in me and Robert Petkoff does the best male voices for romantical books that I have heard to date. These should be required reading for anyone into paranormal romance with alpha male characters. And they are only $10 a pop, so you don't even have to wait for a credit. It will be worth the low price.
