Avery Dare lives a quiet life in Miami as an online fashion/makeup video blogger. She has good friends and a close, large family, and if her love life is lacking she likes it that way. But when she receives a ticket to one of her ex's concerts along with an invitation to meet him backstage, she decides to take the risk...and comes face to face with the reality of his rock star lifestyle - the press, the crowds, and the half-naked groupies.
At 18 years old, Grey Kingston left everything he knew and loved behind to seek fame and fortune as a rock star, and he found it as the lead guitarist and singer for the band Tangled Royal. Fans adore him, women throw themselves at him, and he can afford everything he couldn't afford growing up. Yet at the height of his career, he's ready to walk away and return home to a simpler life...and the woman he left behind.
Except moving on isn't as easy as Grey would like. When Avery is threatened by a stalker, it becomes evident Grey's fans don't want him to retire, nor do they want Avery in his life. And Avery isn't sure she wants the pressures that are part of Grey's life...but she doesn't want to lose him again, either. Can their recently renewed love survive the fallout?

I love the series and the storyline. I have both the print and audio and love to follow along in the print as I listen. The audio enhances the story by adding to the characters but I need the print to keep focused.
I love the way the narrator changes voices when the characters are speaking, the only issue that I have is that the male characters all sound alike.
I'm an avid reader of Romance and a true romantic at heart. I also read and review in other sub-genres as well. Happy reading!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. In fact, I liked this the best of the others in this series. Great chemistry between Avery and Gray. Happy reading!
Say something about yourself!
Avery Dare and Grey Kingston Dated when they were teenagers but broke up when Grey hit it big in his band. When Grey's band moves back can he and Avery pick up where the left off.
This is the best Dare To Love Book so far. Carly Phillips has again out done herself by raising the bar.
Sophie Eastlake knows how to keep you engaged.
