Publisher's summary

Raised in a family of demon hunters, Blair Murphy has her own personal demons to fight: the father who trained, then abandoned her, and the fiancé who walked out on her after learning what she is.

Now she finds herself training a sorcerer from 12th century Ireland, a witch from modern day New York, a scholar and a shape changer from the mythical land of Geall. All that while trying to keep herself from staking the sixth of their circle and host: a vampire sired by Lilith, the vampire queen they've been charged with defeating on Samhain.

No stranger to butt-kicking, Blair finds herself taking a good whipping when it comes to that handsome and flirtatious Geallian, Larkin. And a couple of run-ins with Lilith's right-hand gal gives Blair more than she reckoned for, mentally and physically. But will she be able to stay afloat long enough to defeat Lilith's loyal in pre-battle bouts? Or will she find herself falling for the one thing she vowed never to give in to again? If the vampires don't do her in, Larkin is certainly up to the task.

Complete the circle: listen to all three books in Nora Roberts' Circle Trilogy, including Book 1, Morrigan's Cross, and Book 3, Valley of Silence.

In love with Blaire

Like the performance. Sometimes the voice does go very low that it is inaudible!
Can’t wait to listen to the last one...

TERRIBLE narration

I have an obscene number of books in my audible library, and this is the first review I’ve EVER written. That should tell you how important it is to me to express the level of frustration with this narrator. The Boston accent given to Blair is beyond obnoxious. I want to finish the trilogy, but narration is so bad, I think I’ll read it. Literally cannot listen to anything Dick Hill ever again.

Narration

I liked the narration. Do not understand why some people did not. Excellent story too.

Such a great story. I’d follow these characters anywhere. Nice job on the ending; leaves the reader wanting More!

The narrators voice is different, but not all together bad.

The narrators voice definitely did take some getting used to. The only voice that wasn’t that great to me was the voice of Hoyt. Because this book doesn’t focus on Hoyt and Glenna much (the 1st one did), it’s not that bad as Hoyt doesn’t have that many talking parts. If Hoyt’s voice was your issue in the 1st one, this one should be better to you.

Great story But...

I love Nora Roberts books. The only issue I have is the guy reading it. He makes Blaire sound like a guy. All I hear is Steve Buscemi when he does her voice! I laugh and cringe at the same time.

Entertaining link in the series

The second book of the Circle Trilogy, has all the characters together, ready to travel and train for the final showdown, against the vampires. The characters are charming, and what makes this story interesting. This one establishes the romance, between Blair and Larkin. It sets up everything for the final book, and by now, I'm ready to get the story over with. It's a good trilogy, and worth reading, but you really are looking forward to the last book, and an ending by the finish of this one.
