Aunt Doctor's voice is intolerable
love the character of Aunt Doris, but the way the performer intoned her voice is so grating I had to plug my ears everytime she said anything ugh just awful!
The rest of the characters were done superbly though.

Terrible narration !
I had to stop almost every 10 minutes or so to allow my ears to rest from the screechy voice for the Aunt (Doty) it was beyond horrible!
Sounded like an older version of Minnie Mouse..
The others were fine.

I hate to say this, but....
the voices were awful. The narrator's voice is quite nice, but Aunt Dodie's voice was like nails on a chalkboard. The story was good enough to keep me hanging in there. Not great, but good working/driving story.

The story was okay, kinda cute but the main character was very dumb for someone who had two children and an ex husband. The main reason I rated this book lower was due to the shrill voice of some of the characters. I literally had to turn the volume down while the aunt character was voiced because her voice was so obnoxious. If you are one for quick, easy romance reads you may enjoy this, but read it,don’t listen.

Cute but very predictable
This wasn’t a bad book just not a good one. My biggest complaint was the voice of the aunt. I missed a lot because it was so scratchy I had to turn the volume way down at some points.

Great Humor
Overall a great story if you can get past the stupidity of the character. It was well written, make me feel emotion, like I wanted to slap Sadie myself! Funny and entertaining, well pictured, you could see the beach and the other characters. I would recommend it!
