Seven deadly sins. Seven souls that must be saved. One more no-holds-barred battle between Jim Heron, a fallen angel with a hardened heart, and a demon with everything to lose.

Isaac Rothe is a black-ops soldier with a dark past and a grim future. The target of an assassin, he finds himself behind bars, his fate in the hands of his gorgeous public defender, Grier Childe. His hot attraction to her is a totally wrong-place-wrong-time kind of thing - and that’s before Jim Heron tells him his soul is in danger. Caught up in a wicked game with the demon who shadows Jim, Isaac must decide whether the soldier in him can believe that true love is the ultimate weapon against evil....

Much better performance by the narrator

In this one, Eric Dove has improved. He still has a voice that sounds like a computer but he managed to infuse more life into the characters as he used various accents and intonations. I was able to completely "get" the characters and receive enjoyment from the listen.

The track J.R. Ward has taken with this series is good but she is still lacking some of the depth. The character development has improved but it would help to get more into the starring characters instead of the recurring characters. I don't mind a standalone story but it would help to massage the back stories of the highlighted characters with a bit more depth. I believe Jim and his crew are going to flesh out nicely if the trend continues with this series but again, I would like to connect a bit more with the starring characters as they play a role in the story with Jim.

I will continue with series and keep in mind that one of the later stories was a bit fast in narration so I'll have to slow down the speed on my MP3.

Soldier w/Wings

This is a really good series from Ward, it does not need to be compared to her BDB series because it really is different. Jim is our star here and he has his own mission. Him, Ad and Eddy have problems of their own. The biggest one is that devil in a blue dress Delvina. She just doesn't play by the rules, hench her being the evil in this series. But make a note she actually has a weakness or two and I believe one of them is Jim. For the BDB lovers please keep in mind with these stories taking place around the same city our characters have and will continue to stumble across each other once or twice.

This book is very military intelligence based so it should appeal to more people and maybe men who aren't looking for so much of a love story. Lets remember the title is Fallen Angels so these guys are rough walkin and tough talkin no matter who's soul they are trying to save. There are other books in the series where love helps concur all.

Eric Dove the narrators does a very good job and has a real strong and calming voice for Jim too.

Exciting!!!

I was wary about liking this story because I loved the Brotherhood books so much. I thought no way could JD Robb have a second series that is just as good. Well she does, and I am excited to read the next in the series!!

This book captured my attention from the very first chapter, and held it thoughout. There were twists and turns everywhere. This is how a book should be.

J.R. Ward

Where does Crave rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Crave is as good as all my other audiobooks. Can't really pick The Best, they are all great.

What other book might you compare Crave to and why?

I have most all of of J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood and all of her Fallen Angels in audio.

What about Eric G. Dove’s performance did you like?

His performance was good, very expressive.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, I listen to them in my car mostly or cleaning house. I've got all the paperback books, too.
