Life is full of moments. Big moments. Little moments. And none of them are inconsequential. Every single moment prepares you for that one instance that defines your life. You must overcome all your fears, confront the demons that chase you, and cleanse the poison that clings to your soul or you risk the chance of losing everything. Mine started the minute Rylee fell out of that damn storage closet. She made me feel. Made me whole when all I thought I could ever be was incomplete. Became the lifeline I never knew I needed. Hell yes, she's worth the fight - but how do you fight for someone you know you don't deserve? Colton has healed and completed me, stolen my heart, and made me realize our love's not predictable nor perfect-it's bent. And bent's okay. But when outside factors put our relationship to the test, what lengths will I have to go to prove to him that he's worth the fight? Whoever said love is patient and love is kind, never met the two of us. We know our love is worth it-have acknowledged that we were meant to be-but when our pasts crash into our future, will the repercussions make us stronger or break us apart?

Hot romance/Sci Fi we're so lucky to have Audible to feed our book addictions. I love walking my precious dog Sydney & listening to my books
I Sooo looked forward to this last book in this amazing trilogy... God, it was Sooo very Good... In the last book, Colton ended up in a coma. Yes, a coma. I was afraid of the chances of him having an amnesia or something because that would totally spoiled this amazing book for me. But thank goodness, this wasn't the case... But Colton's insecurity about himself and his relationship with Rylee did make an appearance again. I mean like, after what both of you had been through, you still think you can force the girl to leave you again by hurting her... Come on, Colton, that is so stupid...
I loved there love/race, thinking it was unattainable and achieving the attainable... The never-gives-up-on-us kinda love. I love the relationship advice the author inserted in here. I found them majorly helpful. I even stopped once awhile and think about the messages she was trying to deliver. I love how Rylee never gave up on Colton no matter how a jerk he can be sometimes. And I love Colton for trying to change himself, forgetting his past and moved on with Rylee by completely opening himself to her... '"'Remember, life isn't about how you survive the storm, but rather how you dance in the rain.''"
This book will defiantly please and with Tatiana Sokolov ( my favorite Narrator) and Sean Crisden reading it - it is sure to Delight... :)
I very seldom write a review but this is by far one of the best series I have ever listened to. Book 3 was my favorite hands down!
This is the last book to a great story.... But the first part had me really mad and then it all begins to unfold
Great series. Excellent ending. I love happy endings. The damage in all of us can be mended. Found this series by accident.
Well KB saved the best til last because this gut wrenching, heartbreaking, beautiful and romantic conclusion to Colton and Rylee's love story left me emotionally drained and exhausted but I also had a smile on my face that stretched from ear to ear and that oh so dreamy feel good sensation that only a truly epic book can leave you with.
Boy did they go through a lot in this intense emotional roller coaster that'll have you crying from sadness more than once and also crying for joy more than once too as one minute there's hope and happiness on the horizon for Colton and Rylee then the next minute there's devastation and destruction walking through their door that's hard to overcome then joy at good news is swiftly followed by danger, murder and a bloody heartbreaking loss. But through it all secrets are finally shared, trust is finally earned and happiness is finally found.
Colton does what he's so good at..... plenty of dirty talking, hot sex and passionate pleas and Rylee is strong, determined and understanding as she holds on with love, devotion and faith for their future happiness and broken Colton finally trusts in her ability to catch and love him. Lots of character growth, a full cast of great secondary characters, devastations after devastations but they manage to hold on to each other through every tragic pit stop and eventually they heal each other and reach the chequered flag together forever.
Worth a credit? What a book!!, what a breathtakingly romantic scavenger hunt, what a well-written love story and what an Epilogue or two, what an intense emotional ride it's been and what a nail-biting, pulse-pounding, gripping, thrilling finale it's been. As I'm about to take this trilogy off my playlist I feel so sad as I'm saying goodbye to some well loved friends who I've laughed alongside, cried with and celebrated together when their much deserved and very moving HEA is finally revealed. So, worth a credit?..... well, as I mentally stand up clapping wildly and shout to KB "encore encore!!" what do you think.
Yes, the story. You are rooting for them and he is just so damn hot.
Yes. Very well written. Not rushed and well laid out. I wanted for nothing.
No. But they were good. Look forward to coming across something else done by them.
There were so many and of course I am writing this review after I finished all three books. Not sure which book has which moment. I tore through them, they are that good. But the pain is so good and moving. It just makes the love that better.
Awesome, you have to read all three.
Tell us about yourself!
The best trilogy I've ever listened to or read. 3 books usually bore me by end. NOT these 3. First book I gave a 5... 2nd book... 8.... this book gets a 20. Not one minute of not good!!! Do not start this book until a weekend! well, unless you plan on listening straight through and trying to hide the ear plugs while working. It's that good!!!
There were too many favorite characters to pick just one. Colton and Riley, of course! The kids...
Both were great! If I had to pick it would be Tatiana.
Surprises, shocks, ....Cold chills, tears, laughs, deep breaths, big exhales! Definite OMG moments.... A must read!!!
I'd have gave 5 credits to get this book!
Say something about yourself!
The second book here also ends on an obnoxious cliff hanger. After the first book I'd gone ahead and gotten both the other books so I was less annoyed by the end of this one.
In some ways this trilogy was like 50 Shades. It featured a similarly broken man and the woman who keeps trying to fix him no matter how much of an ass he is.
I felt like a boomerang throughout the entire trilogy. It got very, very annoying with him pushing her away and her coming back even after she swore she couldn't take it anymore.
The author tossed 'Dominant' and 'Submissive' in here and there as if being emotionally abused is what BDSM is about.
During this book, the author started using the word 'Soul' so often I decided there needed to be a drinking game so at least I could get drunk each time I listened to her whine about how her soul hurt.
The male narrator here did not do a good job with voices at all.
If you can't tell, I'm pretty torn about how to feel about these books. I had to settle on 'They were ok'. But I'm still annoyed.
I will listen to this book over and over. Tatiana does a great job with narration. She has a great way with male voices. And Sean's voice for Colton's character....yum. The story line is an emotional roller coaster. Someone reading this book has already fallen in love with the characters, but this book finally gives them all the answers they've been waiting for.
I am in love with Colton. His ability to show how much he loves Rylee goes beyond words. He sets the bar high for men in romantic gestures. And just like any man, when he opens up and allows her into his past and heart, we fall in love just that much more.
Tatiana does a great job with narration. She has a great way with male voices. And Sean's voice for Colton's character....yum. They both do a fantastic job at representing the book's characters.
This book was the toughest on my emotions. The grief and loss Rylee and Colton face in this book really spoke to me and I felt every emotion they did. But the ending was everything I had hoped it would be.
Listen to this series!!
I am a lover of books. I enjoy losing myself in a fabulous romance and great story plot.
And the culmination to this fast-paced, passionate, intense, emotional romance comes to a beautiful conclusion! I'm really impressed with K.Bromberg as a writer. She gave us a love riddled with complexity, very likable characters, fantastic supporting friends/family, and an endearing quality with "Rylee's boys" that made this both a fiery, but very satisfying read. At the end of this book, readers are left with a sense of triumph followed by one of the best epilogues ever!
The leads, especially Colton, make such substantial, personal growth that I don't think I will ever appreciate how much work it took for a hero to master his demons and to be able to say the simple words of, "I love you" to his heroine. And sweet Rylee how beautiful and well deserved her HEA with Colton came out to be. YES, all of the heart-aches in this love was definitely worth it!!!! When listening to this book, I would recommend to maybe not read in public because you may just catch yourself crying without notice. Seriously, K.Bromberg writes scenes with extreme tension that are sorrowful, tragic and portray an unbelievable sense of loss, then she will give readers these fantastic highs that are brilliant and bring such relief that I don't think you can help but shed a tear here and there.
The love between Rylee and Colton will be a classic in my library. The things that made their relationship so sexy-fun, sweet and romantic included their banter about being over/dressed underdressed, having ice cream for breakfast and pancakes for dinner, "A-Z," non-negotiables, voodoo "p", and hard & fast/soft slow…..yes, these are sweet insiders. I also loved how they communicated through music when words were not enough. And, who could forget the need for super heroes---"Batman/Superman/Spiderman/Ironman"--OMG, that was so emotionally jarring!!!
Even though this was the final installment, there were so many highs and lows, twists and turns that I almost felt whiplash at times with all of the developments, but that's what made the ride to the finish line so serene and fulfilling. What a great trilogy!!!! I'm so glad I was able to devour these right after the other.
Narrators: Bravo to Tatiana Sokolov and Sean Crisden! They performed very well and contributed in making this a great audiobook!
The only thing I did not like about this story was when the hero used the F-word with Christ or Jesus Christ. I always find that distasteful, offensive, and unnecessary.
