Publisher's summary

Redemption isn't a word Jim Heron knows much about - his specialty is revenge, and to him, sin is all relative. But everything changes when he becomes a fallen angel and is charged with saving the souls of seven people from the seven deadly sins.

Vin diPietro long ago sold his soul to his business, and he's good with that - until fate intervenes in the form of a tough-talking Harley-riding, self-professed savior. But then he meets a woman who will make him question his destiny, his sanity, and his heart - and he has to work with a fallen angel to win her over and redeem his own soul.

Her Best Yet - And That is Saying Quite a Bit!

I absolutely love it. This is a well written story that kept me interested from start to end. This is my first listen from reader Eric Dove. I often felt I was listening to my favorite narrator Holter Graham. He brought Vin's sex appeal out nicely ;) This is definitely credit worthy. I would even say this is worthy of an actual purchase.

Another Awesome Series!

I loved this book and the narrator was awesome too. JR Ward has created another fantastic story line that is as good as the Brotherhood.

Covet: A Novel of Fallen Angels

I thought this book was entertaining but had incredibly foul language that was not necessary. I was a bit confused about the world of "fallen angels" and the world of demons. It seemed like some of the fallen angels were good guys and some were bad guys. I could not quite comprehend what the goal was for these fallen angels. Were they trying to get to heaven? Jennifer

J R Ward's talents to captivate seem neverending..

After reading the entire Black Dagger Series, I decided to listen to the Fallen Angels. Much to my delight, J R Ward does not disappoint. I can say with conviction that I am addicted to her characters and hope that she keeps them coming. This modern day science fiction-thriller offers superbly real moral and ethical dilemmas that exist in a world too close to our own.

This book was so amazing!!

If you could sum up Covet in three words, what would they be?

Twists, turns, hot

What other book might you compare Covet to and why?

JR Ward is kind of in a league of her own

Have you listened to any of Eric G. Dove’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I haven't but he's one of my favorites now!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Most definitely. Couldn't wait to get to book 2!

Love everything J.R Ward

Loved this! I also loved the way she discretely blends this world in with her other series (Blackdagger Brotherhood Series) which I totally recommend you get your hands on. The narrator did an amazing job and can’t help but fall in love with the male characters. Totally enjoyed and cannot wait for her next instalment.

Really enjoyable read.

If you are a fan of The Black Dagger Brotherhood series, this is a listen or read for you, as it takes place in what J.R. Ward has made our favorite place of all things unusual, romantic, and paranormal... Caldwell NY! She not only uses many of the characters that you can recognize from the Black Dagger brotherhood series but hints at things that only fans would know or recognize, such as a man sitting in the back if St. Patrick's church with a Red Sox cap on, which had me smiling throughout. If your in for a listen, the performer, Eric G Dove, does extremely well, sometimes they are a little too monotone for the narration and then get crazy with the voices of characters. He does extremely well at providing that perfect balance. His accents all sound more Italian than anything but I think that adds to the story rather than takes away.

Meh not the best but ok story

The story had promise but it was hard to get through actually took several days. Im not that easily distracted when the book is good. I may try it again but at this point im not sure I want to commit to trying another installment. Definitely not as good as her other stories.

somewhat simplistic

every time I started thinking this was a 5 star book, it got booring or tiresome or tedius. I liked the characters most of the time ... It was just a relief to finally get to the end
