Publisher's summary

Peter Sommars is fifteen, and what he needs is a little more independence. Which is why he’d like his mom, Carol, to start dating. He even knows the perfect man - Alex Preston, his best friend’s dad. As it turns out, Alex is interested, but Carol’s doing everything she can to sidestep his pursuit. Which only makes Alex - and the boys - more determined!

Swim Googles Can Protect Eyemake

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

This was not my fave as our heroine had way too much baggage due to her past. Yes, her baggage is very much a part of our everyday life. This story is about getting courage. However, I like strong heroines not indecision for internal thoughts so the rating is my own dislikes. HOWEVER, AUTHOR still writes a great entertaining story. Our hero was what ever lady wants and gets if she is real luckey in life.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The dialogue the 2 young boys had was so spot on and gave me such a big kick to hear them. IE: when James explains about Carol wearing swim googles, gads that one made me bark a big laugh out loud. Author has a wonderful sense of humor, but you will miss it if you are multi tasking too much.

What about Angela Dawe’s performance did you like?

I purchased this book due to Ms Dawe's great performance in this series. She does such justice in bring out author truth humor with her pace and inflections.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Not this one, Father's day by same author, yes

Any additional comments?

GET FATHER'S DAY, by this author, NOT TO BE MISSED. Lots of laughs
