This was fun to listen to. I really enjoyed the story. Great job by Melanie James Writing and Great Job by Kat Marlowe making it come alive.

What made the experience of listening to Conjuring Darkness the most enjoyable?

By listening I was able to continue my daily chores without having to put the book down... These audios are going to spoil me....

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite was when Lexi runs around in nothing but Ryan's shirt and she tries to flirt a little..

I personally love the book.. It had me on the edge wondering what was going to happen.. I read this book before the audio.. And both ways are awesome... Lexi must team up with a man she has never met before to go on a mission to find her sister that has gotten her self in to a little bit of paranormal trouble.. Will Ryan and Lexi be able to find her sister in time? Will Lexi and Ryan get real hot and steamy?? What paranormal is in the story.. Must one click.....

When lexi got the letter in the mail and knew her sister needed help.

When lexi got kidnapped when she first got there and had to be rescued.

Both really, it's a awesome read but one thing you do learn is people aren't who they seem.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I would recommend this audio book. Not only was it an exciting story the narrator did an excellent job of bringing the story to life.

What did you like best about this story?

I love legends, history and a great mystery. This book delivered all of these and then some. The journey and all the discoveries that the characters found on the way to find Kate were fascinating and appealed to my sense of adventure, just like Indiana Jones.

What about Kat Marlowe’s performance did you like?

Ms. Marlowe always does a great job of bringing life to all the characters. Even though she is a woman, it does not take away from the male characters. Each character is easily distinguishable and enjoyable to listen too.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I always want to finish what I started as I hate to wait to find out what happens in the end.

This was a great story filled with danger and adventure. I think the author did a lot of extensive research to make the storyline realistic and exciting.

Extremely Entertaining!

I found this book to be a fun, quirky, and entertaining paranormal read. I love this writers style in her stories. I love her sense of humor that shines through her books too!

This book is about a young woman (Lexi) who received a letter from her sister half way across the world, telling her to bring a coin and meet with her on the other side of the world. While on her adventure to meet with her sister, the letter said to meet someone named Kidd. Lexi and Kidd hit it off immediately. I loved the banter and fun the two of them tossed around, like a mating dance! I found it refreshing and comical.

While making their way to Lexi's sister, Kidd and Lexi learn many tales about the witches and demons from long ago, at least Lexi always thought they were just tales or are they? Learn more as you read the book, which is very good!

The author, Melanie James did a really awesome job writing this book. I loved the plot. I REALLY loved the ending! The narrator, Kat Marlowe did a great job delivering this story to us too, with all her accents and different voices. Kudos to you both!

I love how the mystery and suspense kept you on the edge of your seat! Never a boring moment! Love all of the Characters!

That's a hard one without giving any spoiler alerts!! So I will say - when she meets Ryan..

What does Kat Marlowe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I have read the book, but listening to Kat Marlowe - really brings out the story. You feel more as those you are a part of it. I only wish Ryan's voice would have been a little more manly so it really stood out, other then that - it was awesome!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Actually listening made it more intense for me. Even though I had already read it and knew what was going to happen. But overall extreme reaction to Conjuring Darkness: Fear - Some scary stuff going on... :)

Author Melanie James really did an excellent job writing Conjuring Darkness. I loved reading it and I absolutely Loved listening to it!! I would definitely listen to it again and again. There were some things I didn't catch while reading, but stood out while listening. So I like having both options and combining them to make for an amazing experience.

I gigglesnorted a few times at the intersections between the two ladies. ;-)

I highly recommend this. When she's using regular voice it's narrative or thoughts, British accent is main heroine, and slight twang is hero. That will help keep things straight

Yes, I would recommend this book to my friends. Not only does it have a great story line BUT every book I have ever read from Melanie James has been amazing!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Conjuring Darkness?

The exchange between Lexi and Kidd in the kitchen has always been one of my favorite moments. "In this line of work, nothing can be more intimidating than a big gun." He winked and smiled. Did he just wink at me? I don't think I've ever been winked at. What's up with those eyes anyways?

"Ha Ha! Very funny. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but it takes more than a big barrel and a cheesy one-liner for me, although, I'm sure you get plenty of company up in your little love nest."
