By the time Presley Christensen returns to Whiskey Creek with her little boy after two years away, she has completely changed her life. She's made peace with her past and overcome the negative behavior that resulted from her difficult childhood. Now she's back in the small town that was the closest thing to "home" she ever knew - the town where she can be with the sister who is her only family. There's just one catch: Aaron Amos still lives in Whiskey Creek - at least until he moves to Reno to open a branch of the Amos brothers' auto body shop. And no matter how hard she's tried, Presley hasn't been able to get over him. Seeing him again makes the longing so much worse. But she hopes she can get through the next few months because she can't fall back into his arms... or his bed. She's come too far to backslide now. And there's a secret she's been guarding - a secret she'll do anything to protect.

"This poignant, heartfelt romance puts a refreshing spin on the classic reunion/secret baby theme." (Library Journal)
Presley's struggle is way to drawn out. Cheyenne whom I loved before is.... Almost a completely different character and NOT in a good way. I'd say skip this one and hope that the next book in the series is better.
It would have been nice to pick other characters of the book instead of Presley and Aaron.
Kyle's story or even Ralley's
the Narration was good.
Presley and Aaron
In the other books I felt I was well define what happen with Presley and Aaron; they didn’t need a book of their own.
In addition why was Cayenne character changed? When Cayenne was first introduced she wasn’t the kind of person that would lie to her husband and deceive him with a ghost pregnancy. The Cayenne and Dillon character deserve to keep their integrity.
I would have like to know what happen with Kyle, Rally and Eve. Did they find someone to love?
All the other books in this series had flow this one does not it doesn’t even seem like it was written by Brenda Novak. It not worth reading or buying.
I hated what Novak did here. why would two sisters share one man to father their children? Cheyenne better have a miscarriage or there is no moving past this travesty. it's gross and incestuous.
This author fits it again! The book is all paved. The characters are well developed.. I enjoyed the best storyline, too!
