Publisher's summary

For fans of Fifty Shades of Grey and Bared to You comes the second novel in the erotic, fast-paced trilogy that started with Release Me. This sexy, emotionally charged romance continues the story of Damien Stark, the powerful multimillionaire who’s never had to take “no” for an answer, and Nikki Fairchild, the Southern belle who only says “yes” on her own terms.

For Damien, our obsession is a game. For me, it is fiercely, blindingly, real.

Damien Stark’s need is palpable - his need for pleasure, his need for control, his need for me. Beautiful and brilliant yet tortured at his core, he is in every way my match.

I have agreed to be his alone, and now I want him to be fully mine. I want us to possess each other beyond the sweetest edge of our ecstasy, into the deepest desires of our souls. To let the fire that burns between us consume us both.

But there are dark places within Damien that not even our wildest passion can touch. I yearn to know his secrets, yearn for him to surrender to me as I have surrendered to him. But our troubled pasts will either bind us close...or shatter us completely.

Claim Me is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

50 Shades better than the rest...

Ok, so I gushed about book one and now I have to gush about book two. This was such a sexy listen. As I said in my review of the first book, it's the same formula as FSOG and Bared To You but didn't feel like a rip-off. It's a well written book and I enjoyed the story more then I did the others in this genre. Learning more about Damien Stark made this book worth a credit and then some.
Bring on book 3....

Love this one

I liked the first book. Love this one! In my opinion this one is more compelling than the first book in the series. I enjoyed getting to know Damien's character better and seeing Nikki becoming a stronger woman through the challenges. Also I love the narrator. I can't wait for book 3!! Please hurry up Audible!

Definelty worth the credit!

Passion and Surrender

Part two was just as awesome as the first book. I really am enjoying this series and have not stopped listening. Damien and Nikki rock and I love that she is starting to hold her own. I like that although she is submissive she still has spunk. My only complaint is that I have to wait until next month to get part 3. This is an absolute must read in my opinion but you need to like 50 Shades and Bared To You books because this is written in the same manor but with its own unique plot twists. I just really like stories that have hot steamy scenes and still have a plot. The characters sizzle on the page and leave you just wanting more. Worth the credit!

I just fell madly in love with Damien Stark!

This was an excellent follow up to book one. I had lukewarm feelings about the first book, but I was intrigued enough to want book 2...well, now I'm completely hooked! This second book serves up great sex (of course), and still has that suspense that book 1 had as the mystery that is Damien Stark unfolds. I enjoyed Nikki and Damien's relationship much more this time and I'm looking forward to listening to Complete Me.

I can't believe I'm gonna say this but

There's just to much sex in this book. The story was completely over shadowed by the many many sex scenes. The reading wasn't very good either. This wasn't as good as I had hoped.

A Must Listen!!

What made the experience of listening to Claim Me the most enjoyable?

Sofia Willingham!!!! I love her soft whisper voice! She makes each character their own distinct person. The passion that she puts into the story, she just makes it so real! She is officially my favorite narrator!

What did you like best about this story?

I loved Release Me and have listened to it several times. I wasn't sure if the Claim Me would continue and be as great, but I was ecstatic to find that it not only was as good as the first but was even better!! The game between Damien and Nikki continues, I love the way that Damien's words just put spell on Nikki (& me ;)).

What about Sofia Willingham’s performance did you like?

Sofia is perfect! I am not a good reader, so I listen ;) Sofia draws you into the story and never lets you go. When the story is over she leaves you wanting for more!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The emerald bracelet!

Any additional comments?

Get ready to be Damienize

Where does Claim Me rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I would rate this series as one of my favorite.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Damien of course.

Have you listened to any of Sofia Willingham’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I listened to her in Release Me which was the 1st book of the series. I think she did an awesome job.

Any additional comments?

I give this book 4.5 Stars.

It was so good. Ms. Kenner put us on the cliff hanger again. I can't until until July for the 3rd book. In Claim Me, we learned more about Damien's secrets and Damien and Nikki's relationship. Also, we learned more about the supporting characters.

I love the interaction b/c Damien and Nikki. It's scary how they need each other for comfort or each other in general, but at the same time, it's great to see how much in love they are with one another. I love when Nikki used the term "Damienize".

I can't wait to see what will happen in Germany. I am looking forward to listen this book again. :-)

Bravo Kenner and Willingham

This book fleshed out the relationship between Damien and Nikky, and there was a lot of suspense intertwined with the sex. As in the Crossfire series, Nikky doubts herself a lot during the books, and struggles with her urge to return to cutting herself, a practice she began after having grown up with an overly controlling and emotionally abusive mother. This is disturbing, but kept in check through the book. As Nikky becomes more sure of Damien's love for her, she is able to overcome this, except during the most stressful situations. Damien is able to understand her need for pain and provides her with outlets for it that are much healthier. I really like this couple.

EVEN BETTER THAN BOOK 1... THINGS ARE HEATING UP

As the last words from book 1 faded away I was eagerly loading this second instalment with no waiting months or forgetting the plot.... just a smooth continuation of Damien and Nikki's story (awesome).

Yes he's gorgeous, sexy, arrogant, demanding and possessive but he's also misjudged, tortured, complex, caring and very very needy for Nikki who is desperately trying to hold on to her job, her sanity and Damien... her rock. As their 'contract' comes to an end they continue their intense obsessive liaison and, as the sizzling chemistry, passion, erotic and romantic times heat up, Damien becomes even more demanding.... but the secrets are there waiting to do their worst on a H/H who are just two damaged kindred spirits. Who can be trusted, who leaked the information to the Press and why? And, as Damien and Nikki have been opening up, sharing and building on trust and hope, will it be cruelly torn away from them by a yet to be discovered enemy.

Worth a credit? This series is building and building and sub plots and characters are being added all the time which makes it a very enjoyable and unpredictable listen. There's even more hot n heavy times in this one and some bad language and dirty phrases too... so if you can stand the heat then it's well worth the credit.
