Not an overwhelming love story

This story is an okay beginning for a new series. That being said it was not an overwhelming story, and one that I would consider an average love story.

Hannah and Greyson are the main characters of the book, but I found the sub-characters entertaining. Hannah first meets Greyson when she is in a committed relationship.She met him at a party and then apparently forgot about him. Fast forward a few months and she is single and after a night of bar hopping with her friends finds herself waking up the next morning in Greyson's bed. No memory of what occurred the night before.

Greyson and Hannah end up beginning to date, but from the beginning he shows jealous tendencies and what the book refers to as "alpha male" behavior. Hannah's previous relationship failed because of her bf's manic behavior. Greyson begins to exhibit some of the same tendencies and Hannah has to determine if she is up to the challenge of fighting the demons that have shaped Greyson's behavior.

The story attempts to bring to light some of the baggage that can occur from an abusive childhood, but as I stated earlier the story just did not capture my interest. It was a good listen, I used a credit, but I would suggest waiting for a sale.

narrators did awesome job tell story and the characters and author wrote outstanding book enjoy it

hot with a side of hea

this was a HOT story with alot to overcome and reach your HEA. my only "complaint" is noting Aiden Snow as narrator. three chapters less than 10 mins each shouldn't qualify as narrator. feature is no like it. other than that I like enough to download book 2

It was ok

It felt to one sided in the story telling and seemed !one the female part went on and on at times but the sex was hot

hot, sexy, wonderful story

this is an exciting, fast moving, true to life romance with its ups and downs

Good book, but kind of exhausting

Rollercoaster relationships; seems enabling and abusive. I know they're young & immature, but still kind of unhealthy. It's unfortunate how relatable the storyline is. I have to admit, I was 50/50 in hoping it would work out! Narration was great.

Some hot scenes but just ok otherwise

This may be a good read, but as an audible, I was constantly rolling my eyes at the over use of sappy sweet, and the narration was like listening to a computer translation. As a self proclaimed audiophile, just having a clear, pleasant voice with little emotion or inflection narrating a story always falls flat for me. The storyline was just ok, and I was never really vested in either main character...the secondary characters seemed much more interesting.

My personal pet peeve: I really wish romance authors would stop making their characters say each other's names repeatedly. Think of how often you actually call your significant other by their name in general conversation. This author was definitely guilty of that and is always a big turn off for me.

wayyyyy too much explicit sex and language and not enough actual communication between the main characters

Toxic man alert

I just can’t with this one. I love a good bad boy but I couldn’t even make it to 3 strikes for him to be out. The first two strikes had no real excuse. I am making a focused effort to not romanticize toxic man with inexcusable behavior. It’s not romance just polished reality.

Wished it was better

Not enough male narrator, it was like 90/10. Not sure why? Too much sex and all of a sudden the bad guy in the end of the book is gone?? Won’t continue to book 2
