final book?

I hoped there world be more but since this came out 10 yrs ago guess not. didn't like this book. the whole self deprecating drug addict thing gets old. narrator is the only reason I kept listening.

Great Series

I really enjoyed this series. It had excitement, and just the right mix of love and hate. I loved following the ups and downs of Chess, The Church and her men.

Best, most in-depth Downside book, yet!

Chess is finally starting to grow emotionally, thank goodness. On the one hand, it's taken a lot of books to get to this point. On the other, we're still less than a year into the story. More like 9 months, as far as I can tell. Another enjoyable listen that had to be finished before I could go to sleep that night.

Ms. Turpin gives another great performance. The star is lost due to production issues.

Happy/Sad

what a wonderful story of overcoming all your doubts and fears. Such a strong wonderful young woman and a perfectly matched man. Finally the right kind of characters get to live happily ever after.....

Downside Ghosts

This whole series was disturbing, sometimes hard to listen to, seductive, very well written, and very well narrated.

I seriously loved this series. It was very dark & different than anything I’ve read before. I had a serious book hangover after this one. I didn’t want it to end. I really hope we get more Chess & Terrible in the future. This has to be one of the most under rated series I’ve listened to.

I enjoy the narration Bahani Turpin could read the dictionary and I’d listen! I loved the series as well.

Excellent series

I enjoy the “ not so perfect” church witch and showing all her flaws as she continually saved the city. My only question would be, as a witch, why was she written with limited powers?

I love this book.

I love the stories, the characters, the post-apocalyptic world, I can just eat it all up and want more.
