Publisher's summary

A Standalone Contemporary Romance from the NYT best-selling author of the Fixed Trilogy.

I'm good in a boardroom, but I'm better in the bedroom. Much better. I can charm the skirt off any woman in one encounter. I'll even give her an orgasm before I put her in a cab. Or three. No more or she'll start making plans for the future and I'm not into that. Or I wasn't until Genevive Fasbender. She's the first woman in five years that I want to spend the whole night with. And she's the first woman who's told me I'm not what she wants in a lover, even after multiple O's. She's brash and bold and stubborn as hell, and she doesn't believe it's possible to satisfy her. But I'm up for the challenge. And after an incident in my brother's office closet - a downright dirty incident - I think I'm just the guy to deliver.

CHANDLER... HE'LL MAKE YOU LAUGH & MAKE YOU MELT

Chandler, Chandler Chandler.... he's a real sweetheart - as the younger brother of Hudson Pierce he's got a lot to live up to because he's definitely living in big bro's shadow - but that's ok because at 25 he loves his life being a Pierce and working alongside Hudson. He's mentally in a good place right now with his new philosophy on life - he's a one and done Playboy but that's because he's fallen hard too many times in the past and has been hurt every time but he's really a softy at heart. So now he's happily playing the field with ABSOLUTELY no intention of falling again.... but then he meets 23 yr old Genevieve (aka Genny) who's British, beautiful, sexy, smart, ambitious, easy-going.. and a person who's going to rock Chandler's world.

It was lust at first sight quickly followed by sizzling chemistry and one night of bliss but whilst Chandler's eager for a repeat performance Genny lets him know how underwhelmed she was with his performance. That hit Chandler hard and he set about learning what Genny does like which turns out to be just what he's suddenly been envisioning doing to her too... a bit of kink.. which he happily and successfully fumbles his way through. However, when Chandler brings Genny home to meet the family for the weekend things don't quite go according to plan as big brother lays out some shocking facts, dictates rules and then ultimatums... facts, rules and ultimatums that Chandler simply can't ignore. But what will win out - his head or his heart and dare he trust the now very suspicious looking Genny?

This was a fun listen - told from Chandler's internal ramblings and comments to you during the listen and you can't help but fall for his charming innocent naive ways which caused him to plunge so deep so fast and then to mindlessly wreck it all. He's an ex self-confessed Playboy who somehow muddles his way through turning his life around. He's smart, sexy, charming, funny, humble, loveable, slightly quirky, light and unique - a character I loved like an adorable younger brother. We get to catch up on Alayna and Hudson's fraught family life now their twins are here, there's a face from the past who may be there to rock the boat and stir up trouble, there's humorous banter, some dirty talk and lots of sexcapades too. Joe Arden skilfully narrates this very enjoyable listen and didn't have any problems with the British accents of Genny, her Father and Brother.

Worth a credit? YES and I don't usually spend a credit on a book that's less than 7 hours long but, for Laurelin Paige, I do... and without any doubts too because I had every faith that she was going to deliver yet another one of her very creditworthy listens - and she didn't disappoint.

Eh...

Kinda boring and anti-climactic. Chandler wasn’t really that sexy or alluring...he was a boy. Sex was hot though.

I absolutely love Chandler!

5 Crazy Ass Must Read/Listen Stars!!!!!

OMG! I was so excited to see that Chandler was getting his own story. I always found his character intriguing. So when I saw sign-ups to review, I jumped right on. However, I wasn't able to read it so using my monthly audible credit, I snatched up the audiobook and, viola, I listened to it instead. I'm so glad that I did because I believe that Chandler's character translated so much better with the help of the narrator, Joe Arden. He really brought Chandler to life for me.
I absolutely love Chandler! His, for lack of a better word, naiveté was endearing and had me quickly falling for him. Then he brought out the big guns with his domineering bedside manner and, whew, he had me wanting to jump into my 70 degree pool to cool off.
While this vastly different from the previous Fixed books that were wrought with drama and angst, this still had just enough that kept my earbuds glued in my ears. I liked that mood of the book stayed true to Chandler's character we got glimpses of before. While it's hard to rank the Fixed men on my BBF list, Chandler sits among them with his goofy antics and stern bedroom hand. (*fans self and sighs*).
Lauren Paige showed her versatility in writing with this book and has made me more a fan. I can't wait to see what she comes out with next.

Not Me!

This book would take me there and then leave me pissed off. I need my Alpha to have a bit more alpha in him. if my brother would have given me such an ultimatum I would have ✌️-out. I didn't like that the H was always the last one in the know. I would have liked for this book to have been written when he was much older and held his own a lot more. I also wanted smack the h she was annoying not answering questions and doing suspicious things. This book was not for me. I need a take charge Alpha not an Alpha in training

Great story

I liked this story very much. Sometimes I had issues with the immature nature of the male character, however the development of his more dominant personality was beautiful. Loved the relationship between the main lovers. The language used by Gen was a little outdated at times but who knows maybe that's how rich British woman talk. Overall great story

Chandlers looking for love

I listed to "Find Me" before "Chandler" so my feelings are conflicted. I liked Chandler in "Find Me" but I didn't like him in his own book. I found him to be a guy quick to fall in love and very immature. His favorite hobby is making his brother Hudson angry.

Chandler's relationship with Genevive Fastbender seems to be forced more than fascination, and her attraction to him seems to be anything but professional. Since Chandler is supposed to be leery of relationships I found it difficult to appreciate his attraction to the stiff British Genevive.

Joe Arden does a fantastic job, bringing accents and personalities to life, but for me it was the story line that I had difficulty with.

Everything in One Book

If you could sum up Chandler in three words, what would they be?

Smart, Funny, Sexy

What other book might you compare Chandler to and why?

Of course I would compare it to the Fixed Trilogy. This book has all the excitement of three books bundled into one. There is no fluff and no down time. I really like the fast pace of this book; it had me not wanting to put it down! It was also a nice change to hear a story from the male perspective.

Which scene was your favorite?

I love when Chandler figures out that he has a dominant side and he embraces it!

Any additional comments?

Joe Arden was the perfect choice to narrate this book! His voice is sexy and he portrays all of the characters other than Chandler very well also. He gives dimension to the story and makes you fall in love with Chandler.
