Excellent unique storyline & performance reading

The storyline is unique with wonderful twists and turns to keep your attention. Once you start reading it you won't want to put it down. It is addictive and you will want to see more of the series. I applaud the author for coming up with such a unique storyline and doing such a wonderful job of bringing it to life. The reader also does a wonderful acting job distinguishing the different voices and international accents of all the different characters which really adds to the enjoyment of the audio book. I read book. 2 & 3 in the series and enjoyed them that way also. I had audio books for book 1 & 4 only both wonderfully read and enjoyed. The author and the reader bring the characters to life. If you like Mythology, "The Hobbit", or "Harry Potter" type books you'll love this with it's magical essence. My compliments to both the author and the reader of the audio books.

AMAZING ENDING

This is the final installment of the Touched Series. This was a great ending to the saga, but left me with tears for so many reasons. I have grown to love these characters so saying goodbye (even temporarily) is sad. The way this series rounded out, leaving Camille to make even bigger decisions than she ever desired to, showed just how mature she is. This series shows the reader how much of an impact the simple act of love can have. What an amazing series.

Doctor's Notes Review

What made the experience of listening to Centaur Redemption the most enjoyable?

The Centaur Council scenes were my favorite.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Cami was my favorite because she was so fearless and really grew throughout the series.

Which character – as performed by Teri Schnaubelt – was your favorite?

I think she did the best with bringing Cami to life.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes I hated that I was only able to listen at work but it made my days at work so much easier.

Any additional comments?

I have to say the author ended this book on a perfect note but I was still sad to say good by to the characters I feel in love with. I was not ready for them top leave and their story to end but this book made it all worth it in the end. We start this one out by Cami and Drake having to end their honeymoon sooner to go confront the Centaur Council. I think the narrator did an amazing job with this book because she made gave all the characters their own voice and pulled them all off so well. It made the book more interesting and some parts of the book so fun to hear it all play out versus reading about it. I was so engrossed in this book that I found myself excited to work and listen to it.

As the story continues we get to see such a different side to Cami. I loved the way she finally accepted who she was and just how powerful she was really. The author created such a unique character and one that really grows and you can see how far she has came from the girl that started out having to adjust to learning who she really was. I loved that this book gave us a lot of side stories so we got to see what all the characters were up to and what was going on in their lives. I loved just how close knit Cami's family was and how they stood by her side no matter what may have been thrown at them. You could see the love and respect they had for one another and there is one scene that ripped my heart out but I know it was necessary. It still didn't make the blow any easier though but the scenes after it made it all worth it.

Overall I loved this series and while sad to see if go I know it had to end but the author and narrator gave it a fitting ending. I loved these characters and with the exception of a few things it all worked out in a way that I loved. I am hoping that we get to see them again in some capacity even though their story has ended. I am know going to have find another one of the author's series to fan girl over as I leave behind Cami and of course the wonderful and cool Drake and everyone else. I highly recommend this series to anyone that hasn't checked it out yet you will not be disappointed at all. Thanks to the author for creating an awesome world for me to escape into and make my work days go by a little easier and faster.

Please don't let it be over!!!!!!

I love this series to pieces!!! What do you mean this is the end? Sigh, I do hope we get to see more of this world.

What I love the most about this series is it is more than just the romance of Cami and Drake. There are so many other levels and layers that unfold. We get to see relationships develop between at least four other couples. Their stories are just as special as the leads.

The narrative is beautiful mixed and blended throughout the series. Sure it is first person, something I generally cringe over. We are privy to so many POV in the narrative, it adds to the story telling making it even more engaging. They are also clearly marked, each new narrative is labeled with whose voice we are hearing.

The romance is lovely, but not overly steamy. Now that they are married Drake and Cami are able to get steamy. Don't get too excited it is still pretty much closed bedroom door. We just get to peep in the keyhole for a hot second. Nothing too detailed or racy. Quite a clean romance, if you ask me.

Everything comes together in this book. There are some points that were obvious and others I found unexpected. I am not believing the changes in the evil granny, but that is just me. Some characters are not redeemable, for me she is one of those characters. Other than that bit I was enthralled in the story. The way all the pieces finally connect to reveal the glorious final picture.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Teri Schnaubelt, who has be a delight through the whole series. She has a brisk pace that lends energy to the read and flows with the movement of the story. She keeps all the voices distinct and consistent, a real task in such a full narrative. I am eager to find more of her work, she gives very happy ears!

I hear there may be more books in the series but not with Cami and Drake in the lead, they have been tortured enough. I would love to hear more about the other couples and the family. Perhaps give Cameron a HEA?

A home run!

Where does Centaur Redemption rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

OMG, at the top!!! I love this series so much! The narrator is fantastic! I am so grateful the same narrator was in all the books. She did an outstanding job!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Cami and Drake are my favorite characters. I am so glad Cami followed her heart! Cami is an good person, Centauride & intelligent to boot! Drake, couldn't make a better guardian to Cami. The two of them are so much in love. Cam i has all the powers and abilities that the other Centaurs have individually. Cami makes a great leader too. The ending made me cry. The book is that good!

Have you listened to any of Teri Schnaubelt’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Teri's narrations in this entire series is spot on. She delivers these stories beautifully! Every book in this series had me on the edge of my seat. So much going on in each book, that if you walk away, you miss something important.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but I started late at night so read it n 2 days. The knowledge of Mythology through out this series was fantastic too!

Any additional comments?

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this combination of narrator Teri Schnaubelt and author Nancy Straight. The two people together are magical like a love story! Nancy Straight has a fabulous imagination to write about all of this stuff. There wasn't a boring moment anywhere in this series! I needed tissues for the ending. I love it when a book is so good, it makes me cry! Good job ladies!
