Great pairing

I really liked the story and Brenna and Judd made a fantastic pair. They were fire and ice, emotion and logic, yin and yang. I loved it! Not a fan of the narrator whose performance was just flat and monotonous. I didn’t think she did the story justice, but still enjoyed the book as a whole.

Caressed by Ice

Sooo when I first started this book it was actually after book 1 and I was like who are these people?!? Then I realized I started the wrong book. Hahaha

When I got back to this book I was eager to get into it because I was already at like chapter 8 and Judd had already stolen my heart.
Brenna, we meet in earlier books and already I wanted her to get her HEA because she deserves it. No joke.

I would never have said she and Judd would get together after everything Brenna had been through, especially with someone as powerful as Judd is. It really surprised me and it was kind of karma if you think about it.

Judd’s character really spoke to me because of who he is and what he is capable of and not only that but his sense of who he doesn’t want to be but doesn’t really know it until Brenna. I don’t know if that makes sense but if and when you read the book it will.

Again the narration might throw you for a loop but once you are in you are in I am telling you, you will not notice the mechanicalness of it because it will seem like the character and isn’t that what we want out of our audiobooks?

Judd

I loved the complex way of this writer, when she adds new information in for future stories, it’s so brilliant and when you feel like they’re will be a gap in the story continuance she brings it together. Simply beautiful. So happy I found this writer

Don't you love the strong silent type

What did you love best about Caressed by Ice?

I love the strength of the heroine and the hero. They are indeed well matched.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I am a big fan of Judd. He knows he is strong but doesn't try to assert himself and tries to just stay in the shadows. Yet do not test him because he will deal with you swiftly if he chooses.

Which character – as performed by Angela Dawe – was your favorite?

She did all the characters very well. You will be able to distinguish each character which is appreciated.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and I've listened to it several times.

Any additional comments?

Judd is a strong character, he is anti-social but you will love this man because at least you know when he does talk he actually makes sense. Breanna is a strong young lady who is a survivor but knows that she needs someone to lean on and she doesn't waste any time making that clear. You'll see characters from previously stories if you've listened to the first couple of books. As previously recommended try to listen to them in order. I believe you will be pleasantly surprised.

Intensely emotional

Excellent story about survival and growth of two intense characters. Judd and Brenna's relationship development is a wonderful adventure through intense pain to triumph.

One of my Favorite Books

This is one of my favorite books. Brenna melts Judes icy heart and claims the former Psy assassin as her own. Great performance by Angela Dawe.

I truly believe so far this has been the best of the series!!! I can't wait to start the next book...

Satisfying

More world-building. Romance was slower burn than the other two but no less intense. I like the shift to a male Psy and I’m loving the growing cast of characters.

I love that Judd has a valid reason for trying to push Brenna away unlike those romance novels where the hero was just afraid of commitment. I love the strengths and vulnerabilities of the main characters. And, I’m intrigued about those who's stories are not told yet.

A must read for PNR fans!

This is one of my all time favorite series and of this series this is one of two of my favorite books.

We first meet Judd and Brenna in the first novel. Brenna is recovering from the ordeal of being a victim of a serial killer and Judd is trying to fit into a world that is not his own. Judd was instrumental in rescuing Brenna and has been a huge help in her efforts to emotionally recover. Brenna is attracted to Judd and Judd feels the same way except his psy-lineage hinders his understanding of the emotion. I love the overarching story, the world that Singh has created and the all out revolution that is about to take place at the time this novel is set.

The love story is amazing. I love how Brenna fights for Judd and how her love changes him for the better and allows him to see past his heritage and to the man that he truly is.

This is a must read series for PNR and I would suggest starting from the first book in order to fully grasp what is happening in this book.

Great performance, the reading of both male and female characters and all characters are distinct and her intonation is spot on.
