Wow... Just wow!

I read Burned By Passion a few months ago and really enjoyed it! Blake and Kira's sex scenes were very steamy and their love was tender and beautiful. I enjoy reading about those push and pull love stories with a little angst... and Burned By Passion definitely delivers. What Kira needed, Blake provided with everything he had--- all his heart and soul. Very sweet story. I also liked Blake's father Bretton and his love for and support of Kira. I enjoyed this book so much that I couldn't wait to listen to the audible edition. I was blown away by Pepper's read!

Pepper Laramie does an amazing job bringing ALL the characters in this passionate romance to life. Pepper's delivery of Blake's lines is flawless! She captures his British accent extremely well. She injects a wonderfully distinct energy into each character's dialogue; She almost makes it seem like a different person is reading each part! Wonderful job, Pepper! Dez Burke's words + Pepper Laramie's voice = Literary Gold!

I can hardly wait to hear Pepper read Skin Deep-- my favorite Dez Burke romance. THAT will be literary platinum!!

Need more sex

I have listened to Gents 4 Ladies on audible.com and it had more sex scenes than this book. And Gents 4 Ladies is shorter. Please don't make another character like Kierra. I mean really. You have a young lady in her 20s who is pregnant and you have a rich man marry her, and she waits for four months to have sex with him again. Not believable. I grew up poor, and on food stamps. I don't know anyone in our community that will not jump and chance to marry their "baby daddy", and he was rich. I think more time should have been spent on more of the sex when they finally had sex again.

Loved the story Keira and Blake are the dream couple!!! Would love to hear a lot more about them!!! Awesome!

Loved this story

I enjoyed the storyline. I was irritated with the female character as she seemed weak. But as the story develops it becomes clear she is trying to protect herself. All in all, I loved it.

The story was to short. Needed a long plot with more drama, romance and twist.

This the first time I had listen to Ms.Laramie performances and I got to say I like what she was doing when she was narrating Burned by Passion.

Hell ya, this book and the performance by Ms.Laramie and the writer Dez Burke are AMAZING keep up the Great Job.

Simply Amazing

I so enjoyed reading this love story. I will look into more of this author's books I'm a fan now as I believe in finding love stories they make me smile with pleasure.

Great storyline an the narrator was good. I would recommend this book and listen to other books by this author and read by this narrator.

Love the BWWM of how it ended and showed that she could trust in Love the fact that she was a virgin nobody puts that in there books anymore.

What did you love best about Burned by Passion?

I absolutely loved Blake and Kira's story. The flow was just right. Nothing happened to fast and nothing dragged out.

What other book might you compare Burned by Passion to and why?

I would compare it to Because this is Forever by Lena a Hart. The stories aren't exactly similar other than Kira not initially telling Blake that she pregnant.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was when Blake was finally able to convince Kira that he wanted them to be together because of love and not because of any obligations.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Burned by Passion works for me.

I've said this on several occasions when reviewing books by Dez Burke. Dez Burke is a very talented author. I have read just about all of her books and I plan to remedy that within the next couple of months.
