Best in the I-Team Series

Captivating story with credible backdrop of journalist and U.S. law enforcement investigating Mexican drug cartels, human trafficking, etc. Reintroduces characters from prior books in the series, but could be read as stand-alone. Narrator great with male voices but not so with female voices. Romance is tender; sex is hot; friendships touching; violence a bit graphic at times. Recommend you read the whole series, but if you decide to read just one--pick this one.

Excellent!!!

I loved everything about this book! Full of action from the very beginning. The story was soooooo well written. Pamela Clare is a great author. KaIeo Griffith is a great narrator. I don’t want this series to end! Without giving the book away, I just teared up at the friendships in this series, I just love it!

The best series in this genre that I have read yet

This review is really for the whole series, as I loved all of them. Pamela Clare did a wonderful job developing the characters...both the men and the women. I think what I enjoyed most is that the the series moved through the different members of the I-team while keeping the characters I already fell in love with part of the story. And Kaleo Griffith is now, by far, my favorite narrator for this genre. I love how he used such distinct, but subtle, voices for everyone, so I always knew who was talking. I was so disappointed when I discovered I had listened to them all. Since then, I have been searching, with no success, to find another series with such great writing, strong & lovable characters, intriguing plots, and steamy sex!

Real, Gritty, Hot, Passionate!

Pamela Clare delivers another memorable love story. Her characters and storyline are realistic, original and deep. You will hate to reach the end.
I find I learn so much about different cultures and trades. In every situation she writes she seems to do extensive research that takes you right there in the moment. The fine details are not boring, but woven together in such a fashion that breaths life into each character and situation. I find myself returning to these stories again and again!

O-M-G.........

Many times when there is a series that you fall in love with at the first book, you don't expect them to keep the momentum. As listening to them (FABULOUS NARRATOR), I considered Book 3 as being my favorite!!!!! UNTIL THIS ONE!!! Holy Baby Jesus Miss Clare.......bravo on this book! I was gripped from the beginning and sleep deprived until the end!

I felt all the emotions which was from the clever writing and the delivery of the narrator. Passion, anxiety, heartache, fear and love; I cried and laughed!!

Can I just say May 2013 is TOOOOOOOOOO long for the next!!

Wonderful narrator.

What made the experience of listening to Breaking Point: I-Team Series, Book 5 the most enjoyable?

Kaleo Griffith is a new favorite narrator. He narrates in such a way that you can tell when the characters are thinking as well as talking, and his voices are nicely done. This story was fast paced and had a lot of action (both kinds...).

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed this story right up until the end - tiny spoiler here, but not for the plot - where the female character seemed to go from being an independent, driven, curious journalist to a stay-at-home mom in the blink of an eye. This struck me as odd and out of character, and even more odd because all her female friends at the paper still seem to work there even after starting families.

All the feels...

This is a story that brings all the feels---including a few chuckles. While I have no idea what it would be like to be in a life/death situation (thank God!), this story takes you thru it all.... anger for the injustice, empathy, fear, excitement....and I admit, sadness (tears) so wow, just wow. Narrator is one of the BEST I've heard---you get totally involved in the story, can distinguish between the characters easily and feel the emotions the author intends. Kaleo Griffith brings the story to life.
