Voice fry/no character development

I tried to ignore the negative reviews and bought this book anyway and even if I could get past the bad narrator’s (nothing personal but they just did not hit the nail on the head) voice fry and old English man accent, the book was subpar too. I know it must take lots of courage to do these things and I hate to criticize but the character development was null with sooo many holes in the story. I only finished it because I paid for it.

This was the best book I have listened to in a long time!!!! Paul and Justine were awesome narrators!!!

Wonderfully Magical Story

I enjoyed this book from the first word and couldn’t stop listening until the last word. Will there be a book two. The ending seems to set one up. I checked for a book 2? Book 1 was released in 2014. I hope #2 will be available soon.

I found the beginning a little boring. I stopped listening to it after a few chapters. Well, I must have stopped when the story picked up because when I began listening again I truly enjoyed the story. It wasn't one of those stories you just couldn't stop until it was done, but it was still really good.

Great start to a series. Don't understand the negative reviews about the narrators. I hope the rest of the series will soon be available on Audible!!

A great storyThat I keep going back to listen too

A great fantasy story that is worth going back and listening too over and over. The narration was not my favorite but the more times I’ve listened the more I like the narrators. The vocal fry of the female narrator makes sense once you realize that she’s doing it on purpose to accentuate the constant migraine pain that the female lead is constantly under.
Wish that Audible would add the 2nd & 3rd books in this series! That would be awesome.

A Clean Paranormal Romance with Adventure

This is a series that I would love to hear more of but it seems that only 1 book has been written so far. Hopefully, this will be rectified soon because the writer left me hanging.

A good vs evil story with depth. It involves evil Sorcerer brothers who want a woman with unknown magic. Her kindness to one of the brothers changed him but they are both hunted by the older evil brother. Of course, there are plenty of trials and much danger while they hide with many other magical creatures.

Hoping to hear the rest of the story.
