Mostly good

Some of the accents rang shallow, and our heroine is a bit thin, but I enjoyed the story and found the description of bondage exciting.

wth kind of ending was that, what the absolute friggin hell, it left at an actual cliffhanger versus an ending, did the author not know how to end a novel

oh my ....

Ronin is as intense as a man can get.... Private, sexy, mysteries and did I mention hot... Amery she has more issues than playboy magazine. Her insecurities due to her parents I can understand why she is the way she is... but girlfriend get out of your head... talking just might get you the best thing you will EVER have.... Yes if you can deal with her the story is yummy, sexy, and will tie you up (no pun) lol... loved it and going to book 2

Enthralling to Listen to

If you could sum up Bound in three words, what would they be?

I loved how complicated a character Ronin was. I loved that the author takes you through Amery's thought process, and you see her learning to stand up for herself. No matter how intimidating Ronin can be, she definately holds her own. Then, of course, are the really steamy sex scenes. I know that's why I originally picked this book and it did not disappoint!

Who was your favorite character and why?

It did broaden my perspective on rope bondage. I can see how that would be appealing.

What does Rachel Vivette and Luke Daniels bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Yes, she continually builds the characters. By the end of the book, I was totally invested in these characters. I was so mad when it ended and can't wait for the 2nd book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

The narrator did a good job of using inflection and emotions.

Fascinating! Love Luke Daniels voice for Ronin.

Where does Bound rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I'm actually doing a review, that should tell you this was fantastic.
I never do reviews. Sorry.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Bound?

I found the martial arts and the rope fascinating. I'm not even into bdsm, but who cares? It was enthralling.

Have you listened to any of Rachel Vivette and Luke Daniels ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No.I personally LOVED Luke Daniels as Ronin. Perfect! That last chapter that did not use his voice was a buzz kill.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did and it was frustrating that you don't have the next one coming up on March 25th. I even replayed some of it.

Loved the Storyline, Not the Female Narrator

Loved the storyline, but the female narrator's accent does not go with the female personality of the main character, Amery. The narrator's asian sounding accent doesn't make Amery sound like she's from North / South Dakota. That was a buzz kill for me. :(

Super Hot Fantasy book!!

I have read a few reviews that mentioned the Dom character being unrealistic... and I get where they are coming from, but... this is FANTASY! And a HOT fantasy at that! Whether or not a real man would act or say the things Master Black does, I don’t care - it’s sexy as hell. I enjoy thinking about having a man be that way toward me.
Overall - one of the most exciting (physically) books I have listened to in a long time!! I hope others will enjoy as much as I did.

bad bad reading

like this is an OK story but the reading is so terrible I just read physically the rest... bad reading

A new type of story by Lorelei James

Lorelei James seems to have stepped out of the cowboy genre that has made her famous and did an amazing job at doing so! She seems to have seamlessly mastered the art of MMA writing as she had cowboys. I was hooked within the first few pages and cannot wait to read the rest of the series!

The narration is amazing! Absolutely nothing that I did not like.

It wasn't bad...

Story was good, however I didn't care for the performance. It was hard getting passed her choppiness.
