The very first book I picked up of hers and instantly went looking for all her books. This one is my first ❤️ love

Love the League, Hate this narrative!

As much as I love all the stories of The League, this is THE WORST NARRATIVE OF ALL THE BOOKS! It's a shame that it's for the first book. This narrator didn't get ANYTHING right! Not one voice fit any person from male to female. None!

The story is great! They all are, but be prepared to deal with down trodden and tortured souls throughout the series. Even so, they are all worth owning. Just the narration of this book falls short!

I've listened to this series twice already on another platform. decided I wanted them in my library. it's definitely in my top 4. Love how the friends would do anything for each other.

Great Listen!

If you are familiar with Sherrilyn's Dark Hunter series, this story is a copy of Zryricks, I don't know what it is about abuse and the worst type of degradation that appeals to this author but she makes it works and you can't help falling in love with the hero. But in the end they find love and happiness in spite of the abuse they received. You will not be disappointed

What made the experience of listening to Born of Night the most enjoyable?

I loved everything about Born of Night from the story itself to the reader's performance.

What did you like best about this story?

I love Sherrilyn Kenyon's heros. They are always so strong in spite of, or because of, their tragic pasts. They are forceful, protective and smart alpha men who don't like to acknowledge their tender side but it comes out anyway in their relationships with their mates.

What about Kelly Fish’s performance did you like?

I loved her performance. I could listen to her all day and never get tired of her. She just has one of those voices and she draws in to the story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Kiara watched to tapes of Nykerian growing up and realized how abused he had been.
I also loved toward the end of the book when they found out that Nykerian was royalty. That ruled!!

Excellent story & narrator.

This 1st book is delightfully multi-layered. Looking forward to listening to the rest of this series.

Would you listen to Born of Night again? Why?

I was surprised by this book, it has been in my wish list pile for several months. I'm sorry I waited so long to listen to it, because it was one of the best books I have read this year. It kept me interested from beginning to end, it everything a book should have action and romance. The narrator was great I really enjoyed listening to her tell the story. I would definitely listen to this book again.

while the story was awesome, I struggled with how her voice sounded like a robot at times and the way she said certain names made me shake my head because she said them way differently then others did
