Night after night, Brianne Nelson has fantasized about the sexy stranger she met at the café where she works part-time. Never in her wildest dreams could she imagine that this tall drink of water would turn out to be a client.
Thanks to his wealthy sister, injured detective Jake Lowell is the recipient of Brianne's personal services as a physical therapist for the next month. Now, he's not in any hurry to return to the beat - he has to find the guy who shot him first.
Still, he does need therapy. But the "therapy" has evolved into something a little - uh - steamier. And before they know it, their nightly sessions have turned into a full-blown summer fling.
Just what do you do when your wildest fantasies become an even wilder reality?

"Carly Phillips weaves together blazing hot scenes, a suspenseful plotline and humorous dialogue." (Romantic Times BOOKreviews)
I have no idea if this is good story. This narrator, for me, is beyond bad. I can usually get passed it if the story line and characters are interesting. I gave it a good try. I have regreted passed negative reviews regarding narration. I appreciate the work they do but for my taste this is not someone I can listen to.
I don’t like giving overtly negative reviews, but in this case I have to. The combination of a mediocre narrator with a mediocre story line combined to make this a slightly less than mediocre audio-book. For me, it wasn’t that I couldn’t get through this book. It’s just that its overall mundane quality caused me to really care what happened. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this…unless you’re looking for something to help you fall asleep at night.
Mother, Wife, Cultural Anthropologist, always a scholar and lover of books!
What I like about Carly Phillips' books is that I can always count on fun, and romance with extra meat on the bone. She writes a story with a story, which makes the fun and romance all the more interesting!
