Great book

Loved it. The story was great. Very captivating. I couldn't stop listening. I really connected with the characters

What happens next?!?!

I really want to give this book solid fives across the board!! However the cliffhanger ending with no sequel to be found was rather devastating. Be prepared if your reading it it’s phenomenal until the last second when you realize there’s no continuation and they left you hanging!!

GREAT STORY & NARRATOR

Enjoyed this story line and will keep an eye out for a follow on series. I was a little bored with the continued thoughts repeating over and over in Chloe's mind, got tedious, but there is so much else going on with various kinds of characters and reasons for them that it keeps you interested. Loved Luca and Soran, and the ending leaves so many variables for the authors to continue that, if well written will keep us listening forever. I believe and hope the series will be fantastic.

Excellent story well told

Blood Born was a nice surprise. As "vampire" books go, this one is far more fleshed out than most. It's length and the writing style give depth to the characters and the plot which I often find lacking in some books of this sub-genre. While Blood Born is a complete book in and of itself, it leaves room for sequels, which I will definitely get when they come out. Vanessa Hart told the story well, her accents were adequate and not at all distracting. Overall a wonderful story, and well told.

Rogue Vampires are out to kill off the Humans.

Rogue Vampires are carefully plotting to kill off the humans. They take a witch Nevada prisoner attempting to break a spell that would give the ability to enter homes of everyone they want. SEXY Vampire Luca is soon is protecting a human Chloe who he finds not only sexy but needs his help. When he finds the rogue vampires will kill her he bonds with her a ceremony that offers her his protection and safety. This drags on and on. This would have made a great 8 hour audio and more than double that it is a *chore* to stay involved. Luca and Chloe are the center and we are listen to hear the end of their tale but this need far less filler characters and more story. the final battle is good and the ending leaves this open for a follow up we just need to hope they decide to make it a shorter. READER was very good. I give this 3 STARS and this is not one of Howards better audios.

When Luca made Chloe "his" with "bonding" was very intense.

This book was a fast listen, and if you have a whole day to listen (while traveling or something) it is perfect.

Enjoyed Blood Born... a lot!

Wasn't sure what to expect with this book and it was a great surprise.. and ride. Luca was a yummy character and the story drew me in.
