Ahhhhh vampires+suspense+action+passion+romance

Vasilije, a hunky 400 year old powerful vampire that's been a bad ass for hundreds of years and answers to no-one and he's a love em n leave em type that is until he meets Sasa, an empath, who makes a deadly deal with his enemy. Sasa has to get closer to him in order to spy on him and, in return, they will make her dying Mother a vampire.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) they become very very close and that's when loyalties are tested and broken when Sasa has to report back and, of course, Vasilije finds out. It's got a tense plot, murder, likeable and thoroughly nasty characters, double-crossing and an important sub plot that will eventually result in the 8 vampire Sons of Navarus building an Army and going to war.

This starts off as a hard tale but eventually passion, tension, corruption, sex, betrayal, forgiveness and love all play their part to make this an exciting new and very welcome addition for us vampire groupies to get lost in.

Worth a credit? Yes, it was a very enjoyable listen but a word of warning - if you don't like passionate sex scenes or bad language then give this book a miss.

He's a sexy bad boy vamp

If you like vampire stories that involve lots of hot steamy sex then this one is for you. Vasilije is one sexy, bad boy vamp. He is totally ruthless and cares little for anything other than himself. However, that all changes when he meets Sasa. Of course lots of steamy sex happens with some action and adventure thrown in along the way.

Although this was a good listen, there were some plot points that didn’t make sense or were never fully explained. The world building could have been developed more and explaining some of the actions of the main hero would have helped.

This is a promising series…just wish Audible had all the books.

WOW Erotic Vampire Story

I have to say this is the most erotic vampire book I've listened too. Lot's and lot's of sex. Needless to say it was a yummy listen. I'm sure I will be getting the others. You can tell from my review this one contains strong language and sexual situations. Enjoy.

hummm ..... overall it was decent

It took me a moment to get through this one. Okay, Sasa, the heroine, was a dimwit. I mean who bargains to make their mother a vampire and has no freakin concept of what that actually means? And then compounds the problem by making additional bargains without thinking it through, really?! And Vasilije is a man-whore (and really Sasa is not too far from it). This one I just didn't get or have more dept. I kept waiting for it to get better or for Sasa to gain common sense, but nope never happened. I will say that the end was a little better than the rest of the book. Just my opinion :)

On a positive note John Lazoro! Wow, he just has a wonderfully deep voice. I loved listening to him. I stayed with the book just because, even if I think Vasilije was a man-whore, Lazoro makes him a deliciously sounding man-whore. :)

Dominating Hot Vampire ! Yummy

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed this book will the Hot forceful no nonsense Vampire. I found the leading lady a bit weak but hay it was a good enough story. The narrator John Lazaro has a very deep sexy voice that i loved listening to. This is a sexy listen so if you don't enjoy books with hot sex, stay away. :)

I am super super picky about my vampire stories... This one did not live up to me.. Although there were some great moments... This has to be erotica...because all the smexing... WOW! It was like Smexing then the storyline...LOL...

Narration was OK...

A credit on a low release day... Not a buy...

I prefer a story with sex not the other way around

This story was just not for me. I prefer sex in the story, not story in between sex, and then sex and then more sex. And this is pretty much how the book went. A little story and A LOT of sex.

The narration was a bit annoying, Very long pauses at the end of each sentence. The reading voice was exactly the same as the hero, So sometimes it was confusing.

I ended up not finishing this.

Love.

I have seen this book before and thought it sounded pretty good. I got a great deal on the audio book and bought to try. Boy am i glad i did. I loved it!!!!!! It has action, love, revenge. I look forward to reading about the sons of Navarus. This book reminds me a little of the Immortal of New Orleans by Kym Grosso. The Narrator, John Lazaro was great. Love his voice.

PRETTY GOOD !! OLD MIXED WITH NEW TAKE ON VAMPS

Let me first start off by saying that I really enjoyed the narrator. I think he could have done a better job expressing different emotions; the anger, etc. was a bit on the flat side, but he does have the right kind of deep, sexy voice for this type of performance. Hope he picks up his game in the following stories.

I thought the story was pretty good. My main complaint was the lack of character development; granted we got to know Vasilije and his background better as the story progressed, however, even that was a bit on the weak side. And, Sasa, well there was nothing, except the history with her mother and that she was an empath. I would have liked to have gotten to know her better and get more of a sense of who she was other than her mother's keeper. Maybe we'll hear more about her in the future.

Overall, I liked it enough to download the next in the series. Hope we get to know Saint better. Also, I virtually never (with the exception of 3 out of hundreds) give 5's, rarely give 4's, so for me 3's don't mean it was bad.

Deep Sexy Voice...Oh My!

Well John Lazaro's voice is the deepest I've ever heard. I was worried that his female voice would sound like a wounded dog but I was plesantly surprised. He does a really great job. I enjoyed this story but I think the storyline dropped a few connecting pieces. Sometimes it was hard to see the link between scenes. Without giving too much away Sasa is made to help Tatiana get revenge on Vasilije. So I get this but then all of a sudden they are at Tegan's house and she is his girlfriend. It picks up fairly quickly so you get what happened but I guess it would have been nice to see what Sasa was forced to do and understand how she arrived where she was. Then there were other parts when Vasilije and Sasa's connection stops. No explanation of why and then poof they are together. Does not make sense to me. I sometimes felt like chapters were edited out but should have been put back in. Overall it was enjjoyable. I will most likely continue with the series but will not rush out to get the next book. If I am looking for something to read I will use this series. I did enjoy it and there were some good parts and I think there is potential as this book sets up for the other characters and how the story will progress from there. So overall I am a 3 1/2 stars for this one.
