Great story, steamy scenes , better with D.C. , Tracy was a bit clinical at times.... thus the 4 star on performance... still a worthy trip! Anxious to get to the rest of the group...
What a wonderful listening! Well done! great characters, interesting plot and nice narration! I loved how Alana and Mitchell was told and I enjoyed every minute of it!
I really recommend this listening!

This one is unlike other "Rock Star" romances because the heroine, Alana, is indifferent to the whole "Rock" scene. The hero, Mitchell, is the hot lead guitarist 🎸who is immediately infatuated with Alana. Their romance is fun, sweet, and has a bit of humor. This is a nice start to the series.🌠
I really enjoyed the dual narration of this book. They both did a good job and I'm looking forward to listening to more books they've narrated.👏
Note: FYI......This book contains detailed sex and strong language.
I enjoy audio books and I truly appreciate when I get the opportunity to listen and review a book. I was voluntarily provided a copy of this book in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I don't give spoilers so I hope my reviews help. 😉

Great story for Rock Star Romances fans!
The plot was different from what I was expecting, which was a pleasant surprise. The name of the book describes the story perfectly.
What I liked most:
* The Hot Rock Star Band! I enjoyed the comradery and banter between the band members, along with laugh out loud moments and the steamy scenes that were HOT! I also liked the dual narration.
There really wasn't any part of the story I didn't like, but if I had to choose it would be:
* Mitch and Alana were instantly attracted to each other, which I can totally buy into; however, I thought they could have used more time together to build up the chemistry between them instead of the "insta love" feeling.
* The story felt like there were a few loose ends especially around Alana's past and her family drama. This piece of the story left me with an empty feeling, and I would have loved to have seen a better HEA for her family. However, I did love how Mitch was very protective of Alana and wanted to be there for her.
I enjoyed both Track Marks and D.C. Cole's performance. Tracy did a great job delivering all the emotions Alana's character was feeling, especially the angst. Cole has great voice that's deep and I could listen to anything he narrates.
I was voluntarily provided this free review audiobook copy by the author, narrator, or publisher. (I actually had this audio in my six page wish list, and was very excited to receive and listen too the story, so thank you very much!)
I would for sure recommend this to my friends. The story line was great.
I don't think there is another book to compare this one to. I feel lime I haven't read o e lime this before.
I wont lie that i didnt like the vouces at first. They grew on me and i could listen to them read to me all day. Espeacially D.C. Cole. I really enjoyed his voice.
Any book that can make you laugh cry or have a WT moment is a a great bokm and this one had lots of parts for me. That one part with Blake, Mitch and Alana..... woah is all I can say. When you get to it you'll know. Lol
I really liked Alana as a character. And i also really enjoyed the other bandmates but id have to say i cant wait to hear more about Blake.
Love all things romance but willing to take the chance on something else.
I wouldn't say that it's better. I would say that it's a great compliment to the book. The reason I say this is because I felt that D.C. Cole's voice seemed older than what I pictured Mitchell would be.
Alana was my favorite character. She had a vulnerability about her but she didn't let that stop her from trying to spread her wings. Her upbringing made things tough for her but she didn't let that stop her from finding out who she was as a woman.
Our narrators give a voice to characters that when reading the book, we really don't know what they may sound like. Of the two, Ms. Marks' voice was perfect for the Alana character. She has the type of voice that she can change seamlessly just by changing her tone. Mr. Cole also has a good voice for narration but I just didn't feel him as the Mitchell character. He had a certain gravel to his voice that you would expect from a more experienced and older rocker.
I would have loved to listen to this book in one sitting but with my current life it wasn't possible. But that wouldn't stop me from listening to this book again or at some point having a marathon read.
If you loved the book than a great compliment to that would be to get the audio version. Sometimes you don't have the time to sit down and read a book. But to have someone read to you - you could be doing your work and still enjoy the story. Having two narrators is double the pleasure. And if you enjoy this book then you may also want to listen to the rest of the series once they come out. When I go back and listen to this book, or even the rest of the series, I'm going to have some music playing softly in the background so that I can get the extra added experience of feeling like I'm right there with them.
I voluntarily reviewed an audio version of this book.
Mitchel falls for a girl who could care less about his rock star status. Alana is not into the craziness of the rock star scene but does fall for Mitchell. I loved the dual narration and any book that D C Cole narrates gets high marks on performance for me. I have listened to Tracy Marks before and she is a good counterpane to D C Cole. I think this is a good combo of narrators and they will do well with different book genres. I got this book via audiobook boom.
Wow! That was truly a great ending. That was a fun ride that Eden Summers takes us on. Story was well developed and I was really invested in the characters, Ally and Mitchell, by the end and couldn't wait to get to the end of the book but also didn't want it to end all at the same time! The only consolation was my intense love for Blake as a secondary character - fingers crossed that his book is next out.
Love Tracy Marks narration, she is one of my top 3 female narrators. I am not a D.C. Cole fan, as he is a little too theatrical for my taste, but I appreciated his performance in this book.
So worth a credit to get this one if you like a bunch of hot alpha rockers with a soft side, a little humor, and a well put together story that leaves you more than satisfied.
Addicted to any type of Romance/Erotica audio books.
I enjoyed this story but there was some scenes that I just couldn't wrap my head around. The writing was good and the basics of the story line were good. We have a girl who has only ever been touched (at all & in any way) by 4 men in her life because her mom has issues and thinks all men are evil. She is in just out of college so she isn't real young, just a bit naive and skittish. Then we have a rock star who for the most part is living the rock star life style so he is far from innocent. Without giving a spoiler, I'll just say it was just a little far fetched. The reason for the average 3.5 star rating is because they fell in love in like 3 days, I do not enjoy insta-love because I just can't ever feel the connection when there isn't much getting to know each other or past. With a little more time and if she hadn't shed her innocent/timid act 5 minutes after she met him I would have loved this book.
The narration was 50/50 for me. I LOVE Tracy Marks, she did a great job. D.C. Cole was good but I don't think he fit the character of Mitch, he sounded to old to me.

Awesome listen. I'm a big fan of both Tracy Marks and DC Cole and now, Eden Summers, as well.
Believable characters portray a great way to start a romance with a Rock Star... blind! I could have kicked Mitch, the dumb-ass, but of course, without regrets and make-ups, there's no good story.
Two enthusiastic thumbs up. I'll be listening to the series!
"LOVED IT 😉"
