Great Book

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Elizabeth Powers?

I love this series! The narration was excellent. It will keep you entertained. The author did an excellent job with the character builds and plot. I look forward to reading the next book in this series. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Even better as an audio book

Many years ago I read this book and really enjoyed it. Now hearing it as an audio book I love it even more. The depth of the characters and their experiences astound me.

I absolutely loved this book. Great job of narrating by Elizabeth Powers and I fell in love with the story and the characters, but would have liked a male narrator too

Loving my best friends’ little sister

This is what I like to call a sweet love story…kind of unrequited love between the little sister of your best friends… that had always seemed off limits until she is finally available again. Jason Sutherland is a billionaire investor, with a soft side, who has it all except the one thing he wants, his best friends’ little sister, Hope Sinclair. As soon as she breaks off her long-time engagement, Jason decides that he’s staking his claim before it’s too late This is not as easy as he thought and after trying the normal wooing..decides to get her drunk, abducts her and marries him herself while they are in Las Vegas. There is a lot more to this story, but Jason is not one to give up…even when she finds out what he has done and hates him for it. Hope has always fought for her independence which led her into a dangerous situation culminated in a terrorizing …and this experience is one that keeps her from giving herself completely to Jason until he helps her overcome her fears from being sexually assaulted in the past. Let me interject here that the person who helps Jason out with the drunken wedding vows in Las Vegas is the same man who rescued her years ago from the criminal who kidnapped and raped her…Tate Coulter.
J.S. Scott is an outstanding writer and has a really easy read writing style. It flows along and takes you into the world of her characters of which she gives you all points of view when they are needed. Definitely worthy of 5-stars..the fight for something you never thought you could really have comes true. Hoping to hear more about them in the next book in the series!
