Shane! Being bad was really hot, sexy, edgy and everything in between!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Better When He's Bad?

When Shane was willing to kill himself for Dov. That was a whole level of crazy in love!

What about Mia Barron and Leland King ’s performance did you like?

Love the performance, the duo work great together. The narrated this story so well, I hope they keep the pair for all books on this series!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Well finding out who Shane's father was, but as I thought about what had happened since the beginning it made sense. It was a roller coaster sort of book with ups and downs that got you hooked from start to finish.

I loved the Marked Men series, but there is a new series that could top it and it starts with this book!. I don't know why I ever hesitated to try this book. Making bad so bad that it tempted good and won the fight, well that takes talent and JC definitely has a way with words! This is high on my list of books to recommend to anyone looking for and intense, sexy and captivating story of 2 people's battle to find just a little love in their lives.

Leland King has a very SEXY voice and he makes Bax come alive. I love listening to him talk
Mia Barron has a very pleasant voice I love how she doesn't sound like she is bored and she shows passion in her voice.

When Bax fell in love with Dovie

I really love Jay Crownover's books. This is going to be a really good series. Can't wait for the next book

Great and original story.

This is the first novel by this author I have purchased.. Enjoyed the duel narrator s, it makes the listen so much more fun! The story and characters really hold your interest.. I will definitely be shopping for more by this author.

Did I like this? Do you want me to lie or tell you the truth? Truth? It was different. It was dangerous, It was sexy. So truth...I loved it!

What does Mia Barron and Leland King bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They both nailed the character parts, brought both of them to life for me. They were both amazing. Leland King made me fall more in love with Bax than I probably would have by just reading it. Might (or might not) sound weird but his voice I thought fit the guy on the cover perfectly!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YES!

Not you're everyday romance story!

Would you listen to Better When He's Bad again? Why?

I will listen to this book over and over! It was nice to have a different story line than you're average couple who have average pasts to overcome.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This had everything I love in a book, It's a thrilling fast paced romance with a great story line. It gripped me into the fold in the very first chapter.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Better When He's Bad?

the final show down was seriously tense. I thought it was well written and you find a little bit of a secret in that big scene that clicks it all together.

Which character – as performed by Mia Barron and Leland King – was your favorite?

I loved every character, but of course the hero was my favorite. HE WAS BAD TO THE BONE WITH HEAT AND PURE SEX.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did listen to this one in one sitting and worth every second of my time.

i know that Trace's story is coming in October and I am anxiously waiting.

Wow! So good!

Wow... this was so good. This is my first Jay Crownover listen, but it won't be my last. I will pre-order the entire series alone if they are this good. I love the bad boy stories and this didn't disappoint. Bax was so bad, that he was good at the same time, because guess what...he remained bad throughout! I loved it... I even liked the (h). She was an awesome character...so poor girl who wants a better life, but falls for the bad boy, and only she can see the good in him...type of character... Which was awesome for Bax! I loved it. I can't wait to get to Reece book… it's gonna be great because whatever going on between Reece and the girl from the diner... Boy O Boy!

Plus, I think Reece is the bad boy now.. YES! This series is on my instant download list!

Narration was ok... I really like the girl more than the guy... I hate dual narration, but this was tolerable.

Great credit, sale or buy… So worth the money!

I expected better from Jay

I loved all the Marked Men books and was hoping it would continue with the new series unfortunately it didn't (at least for me.) I didn't have a problem with Bax (Shane) having a rough past but she wrote it into the story too much or too often. He was "bad" I got it so you don't have to keep telling me - I didn't need to be reminded in every chapter. Dovie (hate the name - reminds me too much of Lovie) was okay as well. This book didn't have the sexual chemistry of the Marked Men books. They met, he asked her if she would have sex with him and she said okay. That was it. The narration is the only thing that saved it for me (or got me to listen to the end without turning it off.) I'm hoping this series will get better.

Loved this book!

I actually started this book twice, the first time I wasn't pulled in, but the second time with longer listening, WOW!!

We girls do love bad boys.....

Of course bad boys are always fantastic to read about. Who doesn't like hearing about a guy that's so hot, done jail time, and runs a whole neighborhood....no body wants to mess with him. That's Bax, and he's easy to lust after. The whole bad boy, other side of the tracks was a bit off the grid for me, and unbelievable at some times, but the smoking hot steamy scenes are great despite that :)

The book was all in all- good for me, not fantastic or over the top, but good nevertheless.
I don't expect every book I get to knock my socks off, so that's ok.
Trust me, I've had plenty where I can't even get through them, so that's not a bad review!

End of the day- get this one if you have nothing else stronger on your wish list.
