This is a fantastic listen
Book 5 in the series but it can be listened to as a stand-alone. It’s told from three POVs.
Heroine is Valentina. Hero is 2 Rix is one and Rhett a police man .
Valentina was raped. . She had it all, her own art gallery, she poured every minute of her life into her art gallery. She had loving parents and a great friend and employee Trinity .
When Trinity goes MIA Valentina will turn the world upside down looking for her . She even drives into parts of the city that isn’t safe. She ends up in the front door step of a gang leader. Rix is the gang leader .
Rix takes one look at her and he knows she’s class and value Rix will stop at nothing to win Valentina . He will give her something she values , Safety .
Rhett is the policeman that helped her after her rape. He’s always wanted her . He tried to stay away , bidding his time , waiting for the right moment. He thinks it’s now. .
Grab it and see will she choose Rix or Rhett or maybe both ?
Andi Arnot and Sebastian York are fantastic together. They make you want to keep on listening to them and not want to stop

Great series
Another great read from Meghan !
My only wish is that there were more in this series or that the stories would continue.... it's sad when they end and we don't know what happens next . We become attached to the characters in the books and their stories.

Simply the best!
No one writes a better book than Meaghan March. It's really hard to beat coupled with two surberb narrators. In this selection she wrote an amazing twist at the end that I did not see coming. It couldn't have gotten any better! After listening to her "Beneath" series I'd really like to visit NOLA.

This has been my favorite book, of this series, so far! I didn't even try to listen to the first book, due to the male narrator. So incredibly thankful that MM, went with Sébastian York, for the rest of this series. Great, surprising plot twist!!

I loved this story. Rix and Valentina were perfect together. Detective Hennassy was such a great guy, but not right for Val. Such a great ending.
