Publisher's summary

I arch into him, drinking in his passion, instantly, willingly consumed by all that he is and could be to me.

Sara McMillan is still searching for Rebecca, the mysterious woman whose dark, erotic journal entries both enthralled and frightened her. Tormented by a strong desire to indulge the demands of her new boss while also drawn deeper into her passionate bond with the troubled artist Chris Merit, Sara must face a past as deeply haunting as Rebecca’s written words. In one man’s arms, Sara will find the safe haven to reveal her most intimate secrets and explore her darkest fantasies. But is safety just an illusion, when the truth about Rebecca has yet to be discovered?

WALKED THE DAMN FLOOR UNTIL I FINISHED IT

Would you consider the audio edition of Being Me to be better than the print version?

sometimes i like to read, and other days, I listen.. either way, a good book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Again it's Chris, with all his faults, flaws, and hurt he still is the my hero in this book.

Have you listened to any of Grace Grant’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to a lot of Grace Grant's performances.. and you know. she is really starting to be a favorite of mine.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

YES, i did, at the end I jumped up and screamed WHY and WHAT..cause I really thought this was the end of this series and so much was unsaid. It's not as bad as the first book, but it's enough to make me want that last book..

Any additional comments?

This keep book took me in so many directions.. in a good way. NOW THIS WAS EXCELLENTLY written. Everything (nearly) is revealed to you from the first book.. I fear that the two most important people in this book are misguided and can't seem to find a way to one another and that is upsetting when they so love one another.. Some of this was predicable. And you knew what was coming, but I can assure you, there is enough going on that you will read and re-read just to make sure you understood that right. I loveD it. it's worth a credit, or a buy and to know there is one more excites me to no end. And a TV show to boot.. Anyone that has read this series, will be excited to hear this.. I read a lot of reviews before choosing this.. in fact I almost didn't go with this, but now. I am so happy I did.. I am a sucker for romance, and yes of course the sex is important, but I like a good book that don't put me to sleep and few of these so called good ones did.. But this one. NOPE, your in it.

This Love Surprised Me

This is not left with a cliffhanger, has raw emotion and excitement. You finally find where Rebecca is!!!! It is better than the first book and a definite recommend if you liked the first. The narrator is exceptional.

Suspense and romance.

This installation of the series really ropes you in. The flawed characters of Marc and Chris are brought to life in such a way that makes them so lifelike. Sarah is confronted by gorgeous men at every turn. The mystery of Rebecca's disappearance deepens. The ending will surprise you and you will have to read the next installation immediately. So hot!

Wait, was I reading Fifty Shades? No, I guess not.

I was excited to listen to this book because I wanted answers to the questions from book one. Just like the first book this book is written well, great narrator, moves along quickly, was sexy and kept my interest. At times, however, I just couldn't help feeling like I was having de ja vu. Every once in a while I noticed similarities with this book and the Fifty Shades Trilogy. That being said, this series is still worth listening to and I would recommend it. Just don't be surprised if you feel a little de ja vu.

This has to be one of the best book series I have

Would you consider the audio edition of Bring Me to be better than the print version?
This has to be one of the best book series I have read. It will keep you in suspense. The character Sara is fantastic. Plus the Story of Sara, Chris and Rebecca's story is great. Plus I cried my eyes out when Sara confessed about her past and Chris's way of dealing with pain.

Picks Up Where 1st Ended Can't Wait for 3rd-GREAT!

Where does Being Me rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I really enjoy the series...one of my favorite series.

But is safety just an illusion, when the truth about Rebecca has yet to be discovered?

What did you like best about this story?

The relationship between Chris and Sara...and the continued mystery of Rebecca and her disappearance-which is the catalyst to the series of wvents.

Have you listened to any of Grace Grant’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Grace Grant's performances. If she narrates it, I own it! She is perfection.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I did listen to it within three days.

Any additional comments?

I was so frustrated after reading the 1st book - If I Were You - because I didn't know it was a series. It left a zillion unanswered questions and cliffhanger! This book answered some questions and raised some more intrigue. I have the third in the series downloaded and ready to go.

My advice-if you are like me and cannot stand waiting between books. Wait until the entire series is released before listening - especially with such an intense set of books that are NOT stand alone. A similar series [not stand alone] is The Blackstone Affair Series.

I recommend the Beautiful Series by Christina Lauren if you cannot wait for an entire series as these can stand alone (although it is fun to read them in order).

NOTE: Strong language and sexual situations

Love Love Love

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, flowed well without sections that were drawn out, gave some good answers to the questions book 1 left and left me excited for book 3.

I would definitely recommend this series to my friends.

Just Great!

Just finished listening and it was a good as the first one, even better. Starting the third and I wish this could go on to a forth. OMG, what interesting characters. Grace Grant does an outstanding job with Narration. Maybe after the third book I'll get some sleep. Up at night listening just couldn't stop. I wanted to know what was happening next. You'll enjoy all of the books, believe me.
