Do Teresa and Jase have a real shot at getting together or will life get in the way?
Teresa Hamilton is having a rough year - she's in love with her big brother's best friend, but he hasn't spoken to her since they shared a truly amazing, mind-blowing, life-changing kiss. Then she got out of a terrible relationship. Now an injury is threatening to end her dance career for good. It's time for plan B: college. And maybe she'll have a chance to convince Jase that what they have together is real.
Jase Winstead has a huge secret that he's not telling anyone - especially not his best friend's incredibly beautiful sister. Even though he and Teresa shared the hottest kiss of his life, he knows that his responsibilities must take priority. He certainly doesn't have time for a relationship. But it doesn't help that all he can think about is kissing the one girl who could ruin everything for him.
As they're thrown together more and more, Jase and Teresa can't keep denying their feelings for each other. But a familiar danger looms and tragedy strikes. As the campus recovers, the star-crossed couple must decide what they're willing to risk to be together and what they're willing to lose if they're not…

"Be with Me is delicious, unabashed melodrama. And it works." (New York Journal of Books)
I'm proud to be a bookaholic...addicted, obsessed, passionate!!! My favorite way to relax & escape reality....
Be With Me is the second book in J. Lynn’s NA Wait For You series. We first met Jase and Teresa in Wait for You, where we found out that Teresa is a dancer but tore her ACL recently, and her future is balancing on a fence. We also knew that Jase has some well-kept and huge secrets, which we find out in this book. After sharing a kiss about a year ago, Teresa & Jase haven't talked much at all. Until they share another moment, and the two of them are stuck together in a college class, among other situations. Jase knows that he needs to stay away from Cam's little sister but it becomes inevitable they're drawn together. Be with Me follows this couple as they go through and overcome the toughest obstacles they'll ever face. I did feel there were some revelations/twists that were a little dramatic, but because the romance was absolutely delicious, I didn't mind them as much as I probably should have. This book really does pulls at your heart strings. It covers some very serious subjects with the respect and emotional care that they deserve. The characters are developed perfectly and you get an insta-connection with them that endures through the whole book. The romance is sizzlin and full of tender vulnerable moments between Teresa & Jase. You also get to see more of Cam and Avery, so fans of the first book will be very pleased. I found everything I have come to love about JLA's writing in this novel: the steamy romance, scenes that make you swoon. I would recommend the series. Plus, the narrator does a great job with these books.
i must say Jase is my least favorite of all hot guys from this series. i like and disliked him at the same time. he is such a jerk sometimes, hot then cold, yes then no, wants her then doesnt. wth man, get a grip! i dont think i would give him a 4th chance if i were tess.. but. in any case, their story is really intense and sexy, the narrator does a pretty good job as well.
Sophie is such a great narrator. Her voices are spot on for what I pictured. The male voices manage to be masculine and sultry at the same time!
Jace. Lord how I wish he existed in real life.
Her voices give the book an advantage you wouldn't get from reading the hard copy. Every voice is so distinct and well executed
I really loved the moments when Jace was there for Tess. She went through so much in the book and he stayed with her through all of it.
** One of my favorite parts was after the Debbie situation, when Cam came back into town and found Tess and Jace in a compromising situation. I was barking out laughter left and right during that part.**
I wish there was a little more to the ending. I would have liked to see how things ended for them. I haven't read the 3rd book to this series yet, but I didn't think it would have much of Tess and Jace in it since the character re locates. I would have liked to read about Avery finally getting out on the dance floor, and what the result was of Cams surprise for her. Overall this was still one of my favorites. There were quite a few steamy parts, and some things that were said had me gaping, but i still really liked it. 5 stars all around for me!

This review is a carbon copy of the review for Wait For Me as the books are similar in nature with differing characters that we've come to know. This whole series showcases the terrific writing of Jennifer Armentrout (writing as J Lynn) and includes the compelling story of falling in love, destructive secrets and redemption. The characters of Jase, movie star handsome and Teresa, Cam's precocious little sister, are both damaged people. Their attraction is deep and strong, threatened by not only secrets that are held but also the power of Cam to intervene. The narration of Sophie Eastlake is beyond good...she is one of the best Audible has to offer and she certainly nails this book. Don't miss this. It's wonderful.
