Where does Bared to You rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is at about the 50% level. It is not the best book I have ever heard but it is definitely not the worst.

If you’ve listened to books by Sylvia Day before, how does this one compare?

I have listened to the Renegade Angel books and I loved book 2 of those. I think the Renegade Angel book had more substance and a better storyline.

I find this series lacking more of the story about the two characters. While it is a good storyline I would appreciate it if she would actually get to the story. The sex scenes take over the entire book and I mean like most women I love a good steam but geesh tell me what happened, what is going to happen, give me some info to get to know these people.

Sighing...ok even still I think the story here will grow to be important but I do not think it takes 95 books to get it out. I am hoping this improves throughout the series.

Have you listened to any of Jill Redfield’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Absolutely! I actually like Jill's other performances I have heard better but I do not think that is anything against her. She cannot help that she is moaning for 97% of the book. Even still Jill is great.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were a few points that were sweet especially when Gideon is amazingly kind to Ava. I do really enjoy how they strive to look out for each other, even while they are driving the other person freaking nuts.

Any additional comments?

I don't know, I felt like I almost needed a therapist reading this. And please do not take this as I regret listening to it because I don't... I mean I even bought the second book in the series. But you do need to know that this is an emotional roller coaster. It does have some pretty graphic sex scenes. There are strong references to child sexual abuse in this book and if you are very sensitive to this then you should not read it. I will admit I was a bit leery myself because of that fact.

All in all though, I would recommend this book because it definitely makes you want to hear more to learn more about these people that you begin to care for over time. It is not too expensive so I would recommend spending cash on it and using your credit for something more expensive.

I really loved this book... It was like FSOG but different as well. I did not like how it ended. I felt it left a lot of questions unanswered but... it was still really really good!!

Where does Bared to You rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Amazing, soo extremely well written, Sylvia has an amazing way of bringing you into her stories. One of my top favorite books of all time.

What other book might you compare Bared to You to and why?

None, Sylvia is in a league of her own. He books are some of what you would expect from an erotic romance, but so well done. Amazingly well written, and her stories are relatable
on a level, and yet also out of grasp.

Have you listened to any of Jill Redfield’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Only the Cross Fire books. She does very well in all of them.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When they dance at the garden party.

More PLOT, please!

I love the characters. I love the Romance/intensity of love.. However, this book moves TOO SLOW -- sex scenes too extended. Some 'themes' are too redundant. A deeper plot is desired, i.e. more interaction with the other characters, more in-depth issues, etc are necc ....... & The fake, overdramatic male narrator voice takes away the enjoyment of audio listening.

Need more detail.

Where does Bared to You rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I listened to 50 Shades before this one and they are very similar, but this book did not make me fall in love with the characters in the same way as 50 Shades. I am going to listen to all of this book as well as book 2, but I don't feel the same connection as Shades even though the stories are extremely similar.

Would you be willing to try another book from Sylvia Day? Why or why not?

Sure. I will listen to Reflections even though I wasn't crazy about this story. There are certain words used in this book that I simply don't like.

What about Jill Redfield’s performance did you like?

She did a great job.

Had a 50 shades withdrawal so this book was a quick fix. I really enjoyed the story and loved the female lead.

50 Shades. Story is greatly similar.

What other book might you compare Bared to You to and why?

Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy is a great comparison. It's also has a trouble couple, rich, wealthy, powerful man, and hot steamy love making.

Which character – as performed by Jill Redfield – was your favorite?

Gillian- she did an excellent job with a low voice for him. Each character has his/her own voice. Although I imagine Gillian will probably be much deeper, she does a wonderful job.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Hot steamy love comes to the Big Apple.

love this whole series can't wait till the last

Love this whole series, can't wait till the last and final one. I hope. the only thing I didn't care for was that they took 4 books to tell the story. I think they could have told the story in the 3 they already wrote.

I loved it & I know you will too! Don't pass it up. You will regret it.
