Publisher's summary

Having a crush on someone who barely seems to notice you is never easy. It only leads to heartbreak and disappointment. Mia Hunt occasionally found herself in that very situation. Fortunately, her dream guy lived all the way across the country and their encounters were rare. When they were in each other's presence, she made every effort to keep her distance and not get her hopes up.

It seemed things wouldn't work out that way this time, though. This time, Nico Torres had plans to spend a week on vacation with the Hunt family at their Myrtle Beach home, and Mia feared there'd be no escaping him. After their first encounter that week, she wasn't so sure she wanted to escape.

She just hoped she could survive the trip without falling for him all over again. The last thing she needed, after all, was another broken heart.

Back to the Beach

Oh my gosh, I am blowing through this series, I don’t know if I loved the last book more or this one. My gosh, all the love feels!
Mia and Nico are so stinking cute, and Mia’s brothers well I knew one of these books had to have the protective brother angle.
Le Sigh soo good.

Again Kate is phenomenal.

Flirty and fun beach romance!

This story has a fabulous Myrtle Beach setting and authentic, relatable characters. I enjoyed the storyline and narration so much I didn't want to stop listening until the very end! The Hunt family relationships were just as entertaining as the romance. I will definitely seek out more titles from this series, author, and narrator!
I received this title from the author. The opinions expressed are my own.

Niko and Mia

I can’t stand how much I love this series.

Nico and Mia were absolutely adorable.

Mia has loved Nico almost all of her life, Nico is a bit of a player. Or at least that’s how everybody sees him, he seemed to be surprised when people called him that. I think charming the ladies just came natural to him but he was still just looking for the right girl to start a family with. He was surprised to realize Mia had grown into that woman. If only her brothers would allow him near her.

Unrequited and unrealistic

The narration was good.

This story started off well. The heroine has unrequited love for a boy she knew growing up. She has a full life, but still harbors feelings. They meet again and she tries to pretend that she doesn’t have romantic feelings. Her older brothers warn off the hero. All fine with interesting details.

Then the plot takes some unrealistic turns. The hero listens to the brothers and stays away from the heroine until the night before he is planned to leave. They kiss and cuddle. He finds God on the flight home, turns around and flies back and declares his love and intentions to spend his life with the heroine. What the heck?!?! The remaining book is marriage and pregnancy. It was almost like the author had a checklist and realized when the story was halfway done that she had to squeeze all these events into the book. Disappointing.

Painful and frustrating

The dynamic between guy and girl was painful at some points. The brothers interfering was annoying. Although there were some cute moments, the pace started off too slowly and then it got unrealistic.

All along I kept waiting for guy and girl to communicate more. Yeah....

The characters weren't developed well, some of the voices of the characters sounded weird, and I couldn't finish it. Disappointed.
