His family and friends referred to him as a "rounder" because when it came to the ladies, Jayce (rhymes with Chase) Weathers, definitely gets around. He's the hot bad boy who knows how to give a woman a night of wild pleasure and some laughs and then leaves them wanting more and chasing after him.
Not that they're likely to catch him. Jayce isn't opposed to settling down, he just hasn't met the right woman - if she even exists. He's starting to wonder.
And then Billy Sweet shows up at the Honky Tonk Angels bar where Jayce is finishing the remodel on the top floor, and he has with him a woman and her two-year-old daughter. Callie and Lily Williams. Callie brings out something in Jayce. Something besides passion and lust. He wants to be her hero.
When Callie's car ran out of gas just outside of Cotton Creek, she never expected to be rescued. Or to be offered a job and a place for her and Lily to stay. And she sure didn't except to meet a man that made her dream of things she couldn't have - love everlasting, a family and a home. But Jayce Weathers makes her dream of those things and a whole lot more.
They might both be dreaming the same thing. The problem is, there's someone who doesn't want that dream to come true for Callie, someone who just might be willing to do anything to make sure her dreams don't come true.
Yep, things are heating up again in Cotton Creek.

I am a working woman in a man's world but it's ok because I really love being around men !! I've been happily married for 48 years!
An audio edition is always my choice because I can multi-task. In today's busy world not many people have the time to sit and read--and in my case by the time I would get around to doing that I would swiftly fall asleep. An audio book totally "sizzles" and keeps the listener totally involved.
The very beginning of the book was memorable. The lead character and her little girl are stranded on a highway and along comes a angel in the disguise of an older man who helps her back to town where he introduces her to his daughter and helps her find a job and a place to live. He was truly from heaven above !!
J. Scott Bennett is the most amazing narrator I've ever heard. There's just something about his voice that gives the reader a sensation of listening to a good friend telling a story. He is so pleasant and easy to understand. His female voices are endearing and full of sexiness.
I felt really sad when the main character was explaining her past to her hot new boyfriend. She had some horrible life experiences that touched me to the core. Lucky for her she hit the jackpot when she met Jayce. He turned out to be the man of her dreams.
I was given this audio book in exchange for an honest review. I could say so much more about this book but I wouldn't want to spoil it for others. I have listened to the previous books in this series and it just keeps getting better and better each time. Ciana Stone tells a romantic story with just enough "toe-curling" sexiness to please everyone !
Yes, but for no other reason then I love J.S Bennett narrative of this series, I look forward to the rest of the series.
Little Lily, she was just so cute in this book 😀😀
When they took Lily to Jayce's home/farm for the first time, she saw cows and even managed to drive.
Yes, when Lily told Jayce she loved him and snuggled up with him.
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy by the author, narrator or publisher.
I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review. The story is well written in a series for more backstory of other characters, or as a stand-alone. I enjoyed the twists and turns, mystery/suspense content and characters and their world so much that I purchased/pre-ordered the 5 & 6th ebooks in the series and can't wait for the same narrator to perform the correlating audiobooks. Each story has a pinch of supernatural elements that brings a unique touch to these romantic cowboy stories. There are cross-over characters from other series that I am now interested in reading/listening to their stories for more insight to their back stories. The stories are well written and the narrator did an awesome job bringing the characters and stories to life. I highly recommend this series and encourage looking into the other series by this author.
Very entertaining and enjoyable. Another great addition to the series. Romance, heartbreak, mystery, suspense and a HEA. Great characters with a really good storyline. It's always a pleasure listening to one of The Honky Tonk Angel's books.
Even though this is the 4th book in the series it can be read as a stand alone. Although I would read the previous books in the series just for the enjoyment of each book.
This time it's Jayce turn to have his life changed when he meets the newest residents in Cotton Creek, Callie Williams and her daughter Lily. We also get to see all of our favorite characters from the previous books. It's like visiting old friends.
J Scott Bennett does a great job with the narration as usual. Great character voices. Loved the voice for lily. Clearly spoken and a smooth even pace. He just has a way of bringing the characters to life in every book he narrates.

I do not usually read or listen to this type of book, because I am a Fantasy and Science Fiction reader, but I have to say that this book made me feel. Any type of reading or listening experience that makes you feel, is a success in my mind.
This was a story about a Mother and little girl that was hurt for such a long time that they began to think that they could not deserve anything better. When other people started treating them different, they were so surprised that anyone could really be that kind. That wonder was well expressed in the story.
The Mother, Callie, is a good woman who just is looking for a little kindness. She finds it.
No, it was a good story but it was not a hugely action packed story or a page turner.
I enjoyed this book. I did receive this book for free, from AudioBoom, in exchange for a unbiased review.
I get excited every time I see her name on a book. I will say lily is my favorite lol. The narrator does the best job with all the characters and keeping it animated. I can't wait for the next book.
Audiobook Addict. It's all about the Listen. Mostly Romance, but I do branch out a bit. Reviews are my honest opinions-popular or not.
Jayce gets his chance at happiness when Callie and her cute little girl roll into town trying to hide from Callie's mess of an ex. Joe was there in the background to guide and influence, as is his way This is another chapter in the lives and loves of the Cotton Creek gang, and is as entertaining a ride as the previous 3. I do look forward to finding out how the Sweet sisters will fare, and there is some good indication of that in this book that makes you want to stay tuned.
J. Scott Bennett is the perfect voice for this eclectic group. I really enjoy his narration and think he adds depth and life to what is already a good book in print and makes it a great book in audio. I received this audiobook in exchange for an unbiased review.
This is a sweet romance, kind of slow to start.
I loved the ending, they are always my favorite <3
I enjoyed Lilly the most, for some reason I just love kids when they are sweet and adorable.

"Southern delight with a dash spicy and sweet"
This book has all the warm, fuzzy comfort of a small town community, including a predictable group of gossipy old ladies. Choc-full of lovable characters, with one obvious exception, this story is fairly soaked in feel-good vibes. The central themes are family and community and the two are easily interchangeable. The slower, natural flow of the growing relationship between Jase and Callie fits with their histories and responsibilities. The only downside is that, while this is a stand alone story, there are mentions to events from earlier books in the series. I enjoyed this audio book and find myself feeling curious about other books in the series.
