Publisher's summary

With wings of midnight and an affinity for shadows, Jason courts darkness. But now, with the Archangel Neha's consort lying murdered in the jewel-studded palace that was his prison and her rage threatening cataclysmic devastation, Jason steps into the light, knowing he must unearth the murderer before it is too late.

Earning Neha's trust comes at a price - Jason must tie himself to her bloodline through the Princess Mahiya, a woman with secrets so dangerous, she trusts no one. Least of all an enemy spymaster.

With only their relentless hunt for a violent, intelligent killer to unite them, Jason and Mahiya embark on a quest that leads to a centuries-old nightmare... and to the dark storm of an unexpected passion that threatens to drench them both in blood.

Storm's okay

The Guild hunter series is good and one I recommend. The series is worth the credits. I am looking forward to possibly Venom's story. I was hoping for a little bit more fight and chase between Jason and his chosen. This is one story I will have to revisit , I think there were times in the story it was all over the place with whodonit intrigue. Which some how didn't flow with the story for me. I am not willing to say this is a bad book but simply in my opinion not the best in the series. I will say the way Justine narrates gets to me in this story, I don't think it was her best work.

Great!

This one is perheaps my favorite in a guild hunter series. Story of Jason the spy master is wonderfully written. Story quickly pulls you in and you find yourself at the edge of your seat until the very end. and the last couple of sentences are worth the credit. Nalini Singh is master of her craft and Justine Eyre is wonderful reader.

Sweet and powerful. I liked this one a lot!

Initially, I was a bit disappointed that this book wasn't based on Raphael and Elena but as I started listening I soon lost my disappointment. The book includes touches on the stories of the other 2 couples from the series, Raphael & Elena and Dimitri & Honor, so we can see how things are going for them. The main storyline is about Jason and the Princess Mahiya. I thought the story was good and the romance grew in a way that was believable for the characters involved. The ending was sweet and even brought out a few tears (happy ones). I'd definitely recommend this book but if you haven't listened the previous Guild Hunter books in the series you should probably listen to them first. :)

Ehhhhh....it was okay!

This book was okay, but it most certainly not as good as Archangel's Blade. I don't think that this was bad, but not as good. I would like to see a story line on Venom......or BlueBell.

NALINI SINGH DELIVERS AGAIN!!

What made the experience of listening to Archangel's Storm the most enjoyable?

The whole flow of the book was great. Ms.Singh just knows how to tell a story and the romantic scenes are just that...romantic. I have listened to and read many books by other authors where the sex is so descriptive I want to skip over those parts, but Ms.Singh plays out her love scenes in a way that isn't outdated like some of the 1980's bodice rippers where the phrase "his manhood" is used over and over, but full of love and romance, which for me are more enjoyable than the bare all/tell all books that make me want to shake my head, roll my eyes and skip the sex scene altogether. Sometimes less is more.

What did you like best about this story?

The way Mahyia is strong and understanding and willing to listen to Jason and not try to one up him about the troubles in her life compared to his. Jason is a very strong man, and Mahyia is a very loving woman. They compliment each others personality. I also like how what was going on in New York and the Refuge were incorporated into the book without over shadowing Jason and Mahyia's story.

What about Justine Eyre’s performance did you like?

Everything. She is one of my favorite narrators. I especially love the voices she does for Dmitri and Illium.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Change is coming within the Cadre.

Any additional comments?

This is one of my favorite series. I can't get enough of the archangel world and I am always left wondering and looking forward to what comes next.

A fantastic listen!

I loved the characters. I even found myself with tears in my eyes at some points. The ending was very satisfying for the main characters. Definitely worth the credit.

BRILLIANT ADDITION TO AN OUTSTANDING SERIES

If you're a Paranormal/Romance fan and you haven't already discovered the world of the Archangels then oh boy you really are missing something FANTASTIC with this series and I suggest you start by downloading book 1.

But, for those of us N.S. junkies who are now looking at this, the 5th of her books, then this one really doesn't disappoint - it's got all the usual elements you come to expect from her such as great writing, a mystical world of dark brooding handsome Archangels, vampires and Hunters, good plot and sub plots all nicely tied up in a touching romance.

I've been on her website but I can't see another Guild Hunter due to be released anytime which I am devastated about - so a note to Ms Singh - please, please, please can we have the next Archangel story and soon.

Worth a credit? Err that would be a YES.

it was an okay story

it fit with the other stories in the series, but it was kinda boring to me. I expected Jason to have a more exciting story. in my opinion.

Loved It!

Nalini went home and it shows!
The description of the culture and local in this book is breath taking. It is always a true pleasure when a book can transport you to another place and realm and when you have the addition of a truly good story.. "sigh"!!
