Robyn Carr’s best-selling Virgin River series captivates fans with stories of young men and women given second chances at love in a small northern California town.
Four years ago, Sean and Franci broke up when he refused to commit. Now vacationing in Virgin River, Sean is shocked to run across Franci again. He’s grown up and wants to give things another shot, but she can’t afford to have him break her heart again.
Take another trip down the Virgin River.

"The Virgin River books are so compelling - I connected instantly with the characters." (Debbie Macomber)
Missed out on several nights of sleep because I just could not quit listening. I earned a Marathoner Badge while listening!
I haven't "read" a book since 1998, just not interested....after the 50 Shades Trilogy, I have become an audio book addict! I am a very tough critic.
The Virgin River series never disappoints and Plummer is an awesome narrator. You can tell which character is speaking, with tons of characters from the previous books making cameos, it is simply amazing the variety in her voice. Totally worth the credit!
The storyline was very good. I love Robyn Carr books because they show the community as a whole while focusing on a couple or couples.
Yes. The story is warm and captivating.
Maureen. I found myself hoping she would loosen up and have some fun.
Sean playing with his daughter for the first time.
Enjoyable read. I really like how all the characters are intertwined one way or another. Little "Wide Iwish Rose" was a hoot! However, I don't think the T.J. character fit in
as well in the story. I felt it was kind of thrown in for good measure without really developing the character. Overall, good read.
Therese Plummer ruins the book. I enjoyed the first few Virgin River books and made the mistake of buying several more. With each book, the reader got more & more irritating because all the voices are nearly identical, especially the men. The story lines got more tedious as well. It got to be more of a small town scenario of everybody knowing everybodys' business and less interesting tale. In this book, not one, but two pastors are having premarital sex. That's really not cool. I had to delete the last few Virgin River books I had bought because I can't stand another minute listening to Therese and the morals seem to be taking a dive.
Absolutely! I think this is my favorite Virgin River book so far. There are just so many things to enjoy about it.
Rosie. She is such a gem in this story.
So many to choose from. It would definately involve Shawn. It's a toss up between the scene he meets Franci in the grocery store and the first day he spends with Rosie. I don't want to give details & spoil the fun for anyone. I found myself laughing out loud in both of those.
Yes, lots of laughter, but it is still well rounded, like most of Carr's books.
I love the characters in Angel's Peak, they are real life people, who make mistakes and have regrets just like the rest of us. In other words you can relate to these people. In this book you see that second chances do happen sometimes.
I am addicted to Virgin River, the continuation of the lives of all the characters makes you feel like you are visiting neighbors and catching up.
This Lady is awesome I get so involved with the story because I am seeing it through her eyes.
No to be honest I am always sad to get to the end and have to say good bye to my friends.
I am usually into mysteries but Virgin River has captured my heart.
I've listened twice so far .... I'm really enjoying the reality and believability of each and every one of this series
Nora Roberts "Witness"
yes, this is the way to relax, not raced not monotone, thank you
yes, unfortunately I fell asleep and had to go back ....
Relaxing - humorous - slice of life back into these wonderful multifacieted characters lives, but also able to be read stand alone.
