Anna never knew werewolves existed until the night she survived a violent attack…and became one herself. After three years at the bottom of the pack, she’d learned to keep her head down and never, ever trust dominant males. But Anna is that rarest kind of werewolf: an Omega. And one of the most powerful werewolves in the country will recognize her value as a pack member—and as his mate.

Great series. I love Anna and Charles and the Mercy Thompson/ Alpha & Omega worlds. Honestly anything that Patricia Briggs writes I will buy, she is an excellent writer.
Holter Graham is my favorite narrator based on his work on this series. This novella first appeared in "On the prowl" and honestly was the only part of that novel that was worth reading. I was glad when she chose to sell this story individually. Although it is not necessary for you to read Mercy Thompson or this novella before reading Cry Wolf, it does help in understanding the overall plot.
Not very long so I would just buy and save your credit, but definitely worth a purchase.
Patricia Briggs is a great writer i didn't like this narrator at all he sounded like a drone
Yes, this wasn't my favourite book of the series but it was deferentially worth a listen
I didn't like Holter Graham's rendition of the male lead
this book is already part of a series
The story of Charles and Anna is romantic and full of adventure. Please, please, please Amazon make all these books available to Australian listeners!
This is a great short introduction to Patricia Briggs I love her work I love Charles and Anna and the Alpha and Omega is enjoy to listen to
I just can't help but listen to it over and over again. This is such a great series and they do a wonderful job adding bits and pieces of the Mercy Thompson series in too.
Narrator is good. Story is a great start to spin off to Moon Called and Mercedes Thompson. This is the best of Urban Fantasy. This is told in 3rd person, a difference in the UF world.
It gets to the point right from the start, but I wanted more it was to short
IT WAS OK
PLEASE, The story cant end there
I started listening to Cry Wolf first and stopped to listen to this first. It helped me to understand the story better so that I could connect with the characters in Cry Wolf.
One minor annoyance is that between this series and the Mercy Thompson series, the performers pronounce commonly used words differently. Maybe I'm the only one who likes the Mercy series performer better?!
