Great action and romance

Begins a series that draws you in and makes you want to follow the whole team. Loved how the heroine decides she isn't going to be a victim and learns to protect and defend herself. She makes a difference.

Where does Alpha One rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Alpha One was thoroughly enjoyable. It's a love story, thriller and mystery all in one. I loved the narration particularly - she is so emotionally in tune with the characters I felt like I was right there with them. I think this is a series and I can't wait to hear the next!

Would you consider the audio edition of Alpha One to be better than the print version?

I listened to it, did not read. I enjoyed the audio, however, I have both and will read this one. Thoroughly enjoyed.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Alpha One?

There were several, however, I enjoyed when Julianne showed "John" she wasn't the mild mannered woman he had duped.

I'm a huge fan of Black Ops type books. This one was very good. If I could have had one more thing, it would have been more team interaction. Still very good, villain was villainous, heroes flawed yet good overall and the lady love grew and showed her alpha side as well.

I really love the series.... I have read book one and two… I can now download 4,5,7 and I believe eight but I cannot get booked 3& 6... I am a little bit poison with that. other than this ...these books are great!

Very good narration and story!

This story has great suspense and action and wonderful characters and a second chance romance. The narration is really very good! It is very entertaining!

I thought the story was good and the narrator did a really good job as well. Worth the listen!

I know this is part of a series I think and i'm def going to get the others. It was good to loose myself in the story which reminded me of the x files meets law & order. The narration helped a lot because the narrator has a great voice but also lots of emotion and just makes me feel like I was there.

Alpha One Shadow Agents Book One

Interesting book and the different agent from the normal that we are used to reading about and come to learn off. The Shadow agent are a different undercover that are responsible for rescue mission and other investigation of criminal problem within the government agency or in federal governments. Excellent book. The action started on the first page and never let up. Julie had been taken hostage to try to force her father to turn over information about Mexican arms dealer Guerrero. Logan and his black ops team were sent tin to rescue her. Julie hadn't seen Logan in ten years, ever since he had left her and broken her heart. Now he swore to protect her from Guerrero. Julie wasn't sure that she wanted Logan back in her life but she did know that she could trust him to keep her safe. What she didn't know was that the team was also using her for bait to draw Guerrero out. She was furious when she found out but was also determined not to be a victim any longer. I really liked the strength of will that she developed during the book. The difference between the Julie of the start of the book and the one at the end was significant. Especially once she found out why he had left her and decided to fight for what she wanted. Logan had left Julie all those years ago because he never felt that he was good enough for her. There were things in his past that he was sure she would never forgive him for. He had also never forgotten her and when he was sent to rescue her, he knew he wanted a second chance with her. Logan was caught between a rock and a hard place as he wanted to keep her safe while he found out who all was behind the attacks. He also was still afraid of what she would think of what he had become. I loved the ending and the way they were able to move on with their future. The suspense in this book was also very well done. Each step moved on logically to the next keeping me guessing as to who was really behind some of the events. There were a couple surprises that I didn't see coming. I also liked the supporting characters and how well they were all portrayed. I am really looking forward to the rest of the series.

Everyone should have a hot Alpha Male to love them

Where does Alpha One rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

OH It ranks near the top as I love this author and her stories. No one does suspense and intrigue like Ms. Eden.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Logan Quinn is one hot Alpha who has been in love with his target for years but does not think he's good enough for her.

Have you listened to any of Romy Nordlinger’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Never listened to her before so can't compare to other stories but was pretty good in this one.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

My Hot Alpha

Fairly straight forward rescue romance

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

It was a good story and there were a couple of scenes that took me by surprise. It's a pretty basic romance with an alpha male, but the heroine was a little on the weak side.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The voices didn't change as much as other narrators.

Was Alpha One worth the listening time?

It was fine, but not outstanding.
