Great sequel, totally different!

The first book is funny and I liked it a lot. But this book shows the downside to Fools Gold. it's not all rainbows and hearts.

I really liked the tone and plot of this story. I don't like contemp romance that much, but this series is excellent!

Getting Better

I am glad that I took the chance a purchased the second book in this series since the first book was just kind of ok. I love Susan Mallory books because even though I may not like some of the people in them those same people pull your emotional in in all different directions. So in this book Ethan is the perfect example of an selfish, self absorbed, take no responsibility of his actions, seeing only his side, jerk. And even though Liz made mistakes and messed up she is willing to take responsibility for her part and tries to make things right but Ethan takes her on a emotional roll a coaster and I wanted to just reach through my head phones and slap him. This book will make you laugh and cry and will pull you just a little further into the world of Fools Gold.

Yes, I have recommended and now she has started the series. The visuals and the history behind the story of the characters draws you in.

What other book might you compare Almost Perfect to and why?

Well since this book came first I don't know but after u have read all of the series books it is like Summer Brides (NOVELLA) and Only His. Thyself have a similar story having an issue with someone from there past and making things right.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Ethan sees Liz for the first time after so long.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, when Ethan didn't give up and recognizes he contributed to the problem. That he is bnot just the victim.

Read Summer Brides after this one. Unfortunately it isn't an audiobook. You wont regret it though.

Love the story, all about second chances

This love story is all about second chances and how the twists in life can make all the difference. Faith and love - both in yourself and others. Great addition to the Fool's Gold community!

Infuriating

I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the other Fools Gold stories, but this one made me want to scream, 'You didn't do anything wrong, stop apologizing.' I wanted to give Liz a good shake and Ethan a good slap.
Starting book No.3 right now.
By the way, love Tanya Eby's narration.

I have no idea why some people don't like Tanya Eby? I loved the story and especially the narrator!

Great read in a great series. Kept you wanting more. Great storyline and awesome charactures

Better the second time

Even after the second time Ethan is not my favorite. Make that boy grovel Liz!

I love audio books and this was really a good listen, nver was bores and the story kept me til the end. I have read many of her books they are great.
