Publisher's summary

He won't stay put for a woman, and she won't chase after any man...

Mitch Kowalski lives out of a suitcase - and he likes it that way. Traveling for work has the added bonus of scaring off women who would otherwise try to tie him down. But when he's called home to help with the family lodge, he's intrigued by the new girl in town and her insistence that she doesn't need a man. If there's one thing Mitch can't resist, it's a challenge.

After a nomadic childhood, Paige Sullivan is finally putting down roots. Determined to stand on her own two feet, she lives by the motto "Men are a luxury, not a necessity". But when Mr. Tall, Dark and Hot pulls up a stool in her diner and offers her six weeks of naughty fun with a built-in expiration date, she's tempted to indulge.

They're the perfect match for a no-strings fling. Until they realize their sexy affair has become anything but casual....

Love Shannon Stacey but...

Would you listen to All He Ever Needed again? Why?

Yes, I love this series. I like that I can listen to one book and listen to another and already have a feeling for the characters.

If you’ve listened to books by Shannon Stacey before, how does this one compare?

This one I can say is not my favorite. It feels as if it was rushed toward the end. I feel like their were characters just hanging out there that needed their story finished. What happens with Josh and Katie? Ryan? With the hotel?

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Renee Werbowski?

Lauren Fortgang. She did the narration on the other's so I was expecting to have her perception on how the characters sounded. Renee Werbowski sounded as if she was just reading the book. There wasn't really any emotion or her take on the characters.

Ruined it for me with a new narrator

Great story line up to now, couldn’t focus on this book. The new narrator just did not fit.
Was disappointed the series went off the rails, unfortunately won’t be finishing.

Cheesy ending.

So far I have loved everything I have found on Audible by Shannon, I'm not sure is it was the narrartor (who is UGH. made me want to plug my ears at times) or if I just never noticed that she writes cheesy mush stuff. I did notice a corney line here and there in here other stories but at the end of this book it just went straight to cheesy. Cringe worthy eye rolling cheesy. I think alot had to do with the narrartor but at the same time she only reads what the author wrote so....
But over all it was a good book. I found my self laughing from time to time once I was able to adjust to the narrartor ( have I mention I didnt care for her) I am looking forward to more books from this author.

Why change narrator

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Loved these books but why change narrators? This one is just reading nothing I would have spent a credit on. I hate it when books go from a great reader to bad, I recommend all the others in this series for a light fun listen not this one.

Another fun one!

What did you love best about All He Ever Needed?

I liked the overall continuation of the Kowalski brothers/family

What was one of the most memorable moments of All He Ever Needed?

Just the overall small town feel of the book.

What about Renee Werbowski’s performance did you like?

I liked the other one better who did book 1-3. Renee's performance was just ok! Often times you couldn't tell when one sentence ended and another began. She read it to close together.

Any additional comments?

Another fun love story and continuation of the series.

Reviewing Before I've Finished

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Meh. Probably not. I got hooked onto the Kowalski family series largely bc of the original narrator's delivery, so it was jarring to have someone else's voice telling a continuation of the Kowalski story. I also got the Kindle version (thinking I should just read it so I could get thru the stories in order) but I think I've just gotten used to having these stories read to me by the original narrator. It was like I was missing the jokes and the witty nuances of the dialogue on my own.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Skipping to the next in this series that has the original narrator (Lauren Fortgang)

Would you listen to another book narrated by Renee Werbowski?

Probably a non-fiction. Performance of a fictional story with a variety of characters doesn't seem to be her thing (just based on this).... However, her reading was straightforward & basically good.

Was All He Ever Needed worth the listening time?

No. Even though I know better, I should never ignore other people's reviews on Audible!

Narrator ruined it

Ms. Werbowski ruined the audible experience for me. Monotone, monovoice. Never could figure out who was speaking. Male, female, all the same.

Love Books In A Series

I enjoyed it and wish she had given us a little more in the epilogue on how they are doing. Maybe it will in the next book about the Kowalski Brothers, which I am ready for. I checked Shannon Stacey's website. Ryan and Josh's story will not be about until next year--like I said I am ready to listen.

I don't think the narrator was as bad as the previous reviewer, but everyone has their own opinion. She is not LKing, but she was fine. I will listen to her again. I have held off reading Kevin's book because of the ratings, but think I am going to go on and purchase it.

A yawner for Paige and Mitch

I've cherry picked my way through Shannon Stacey's Kowalski family. I really liked Keri and Joe, bypassed Kevin and Beth, LOVED Sean and Emma, and then made the mistake of reading Mitch and Paige. Bo-ring. I really liked Mitch's character, he was a strong and funny male lead. Paige was wishy-washy, boring, slightly cold, and mostly indifferent. Her backstory did not make me believe she was "oh-so-damaged" enough to have a sticky note on her fridge that read "you don't need a man" or some kind of rubbish like that.

It took me a long time to finally finish their story, and at the end- it was just ho-hum. Definitely not a re-read, or credit worthy. Sigh, should have read other reviewers- and will continue to cherry pick my way through the Kowalski family series!

Fun Fluff

This was a cute, sweet romance. A good vacation book. I've listened to all the series and will continue to do so.
