Publisher's summary

He won't stay put for a woman, and she won't chase after any man...

Mitch Kowalski lives out of a suitcase - and he likes it that way. Traveling for work has the added bonus of scaring off women who would otherwise try to tie him down. But when he's called home to help with the family lodge, he's intrigued by the new girl in town and her insistence that she doesn't need a man. If there's one thing Mitch can't resist, it's a challenge.

After a nomadic childhood, Paige Sullivan is finally putting down roots. Determined to stand on her own two feet, she lives by the motto "Men are a luxury, not a necessity". But when Mr. Tall, Dark and Hot pulls up a stool in her diner and offers her six weeks of naughty fun with a built-in expiration date, she's tempted to indulge.

They're the perfect match for a no-strings fling. Until they realize their sexy affair has become anything but casual....

Why did they change narrators?

Would you listen to All He Ever Needed again? Why?

I love this series but the narration ruined it for me.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Renee Werbowski?

Lauren Fortgang

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I barely made it through whole book.

Liked the characters

3/5 rating = pretty good. This is a “let’s agree to just a fling” trope, but a well-done one. The small-town’s player to end all players falls in love but doesn’t want to admit it. Great cast of characters.

There is a small amount of sexy scenes - graphic but not extreme.

The narration is okay.

Too bad they changed the narrator...

I love this series of the loves stories of the Kowalski kids, but the change in narrator is irritating. Unfortunately, Renee Werbowski can't differentiate between characters in the sound and intonation of voice. Her pacing is really good, but the tone isn't good. Story is still good and worth a listen if you can ignore the narrator. I'm still looking forward to the next in the story. What's going to happen with Ryan and Liz?

Sometimes taking a chance on love is worth it.

This is book #4 is the Kowalski Family series. OK so I started with book #4, but I don’t think starting at this point detracted from the story. I took a chance on this one because it was a great price and I wanted to start a new series. It was totally worth it. I really enjoyed listening to the story of Mitch Kowalski and Paige Sullivan. These two are lost and don’t even realize it until they embark on a no string attached dating adventure. This is what I love about Romance Novels. It’s so exciting to watch these two realize they need each other. All they needed to do is take a chance on each other. The romantic scenes are tastefully done with the right amount of spice thrown in to create some very steamy scenes. Not to mention, the narration was on point. Now I am going to get the rest of this series and will listen to the rest in order. I just love it when I get a great book!!!!

Good story ruined

The narrator ruined the store. Struggle to tell when the point of view was being told by a different character, or even who was speaking.

Great series. Best narrator.

My husband and I are enjoying this series. I like Renee Werbowski as the narrator. She has brought great voice to the characters.

Excellent Listen!

Enjoyable but better listened to in series order. I've enoyed other books in the Kowalski series hence downloaded and listened to this one when it popped up in new releases. Unfortunately I spent a lot of time at the beginning trying to understand the connection to the earlier books until I realized I had skipped book 3.

so hard to stay focused and keep track

I think the book was as good as the others but it was very hard to keep track who was taking. There was little change in voice from person to person and there was no pause between scenes. I'm glad the rest of the books went back to the original narrator!

Listen to the book, form an opinion of your own

Almost didn’t listen to this book because of all the bad reviews. Neither the narrator, not the heroine were as bad as the reviews made them to be. I am glad I listened to it after all.

Narrator was just flat or horrible

Renee is horrible. Her voice just made this book a bust. Should redo this book with Lauren. Very very unhappy
