Publisher's summary

Men are dying unexpectedly in Charlotte, North Carolina, all victims of bizarre accidents. No one will call these deaths murder. No one except small-town cop Melanie May. She sees the pattern: a serial killer targeting men who have slipped through the fingers of justice. Alone with her awful certainty, Melanie risks her career to convince Connor Parks, a troubled FBI profiler, that she's right.

Suddenly Melanie is in the limelight, lauded for uncovering the Dark Angel. But her involvement makes her a target. For as she and Connor study the victims, their deaths, the signature the murderer leaves at every scene, Melanie comes face-to-face with the terrible truth. The profile Connor created fits someone in her own life, a profile of a cunning killer, one without remorse and bent on vengeance. A killer who will not stop until...All Fall Down.

All Fall Down delivers

The unique relationsip between the sisters and the persistent desire for Mel to solve the Dark Angel case leads her to the darkest time in her life. I found the book very enjoyable and entertaining.

Disappointed

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

A more in depth story line.

What could Erica Spindler have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

This story lacked imagination.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I don't think the narrator had much to work with.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from All Fall Down?

I would not have let this go to printing.

Any additional comments?

Although I am not attracted to books that have a lot of romance I believe there could have been more time spent developing the relationship between Conner and Melanie.

Too long

This story is 3 hours & 17 minutes too long. It is also a strong message that you would be better off buring your money than selecting "complete your purchase". Bleaaaccckkk

Not so hot

This book, setting, characters and plot are just too much like the Kay Scarpetta series by Patricia Cornwell. The technical aspects of the recording were good, the reader does a better than adequate job. It just wasn't worth my time, definitely not a book that will end up in my CD library.

Not that there is anything wrong with it, but

I don't want to read about it. I was shocked to be reading along and find that the author introduced lesbianism without any hint of it in the books description or in any of the reviews. It spoiled the book for me.
