New York Times best-selling author Kat Martin has more than 60 romance titles to her credit. In this first book in the Brodies of Alaska series, Lane Bishop follows her heart to a remote Alaskan fishing lodge, where Dylan Brodie and his young daughter await. But the lodge houses a chilling legacy - one that could snuff out Lane and Dylan’s love even as it begins to take hold.

“Gloriously suspenseful … magnificent reading.” (RT Book Reviews)
Love Jack Garret. I have liked some Kat Martin in the past, but this was disappointing. I didn't even finish listening to it.
Great cadence, I love falling asleep to his voice.
All the scenes about being so rich and connected. It makes the story feel so escapist and fake.
This is a romance within several mysteries that is not easy to figure out before the ending of the book. Personally, I liked the reality of the situations within the many different characters. Animal lovers beware, the dog does get injured but makes a complete recovery. Yay!
Kat Martin is one of my most favorite authors. Jack Garrett is a wonderful Narrator. Which Brother is next?! I'm ready!!
Kat Martin writes a great story and Jack Garrett is a great narrator.
Lane because of her toughness, kindness, loving nature. Dylan because of the way he treated Lane with protectiveness, love and kindness,
I am a huge Jack Garrett fan!
There were several times I choked up during this reading.
Looking forward to the next installment. In hope it is about Nick Brodie.
